Dha/Jake: Intentions, Maranatha, Morning offering

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and in union with the
Holy sacrifice of the mass, I offer you my life as it is. With its
handicaps and weaknesses, its past mistakes and failures, its talents
and abilities, its joys and pleasures, its trials and suffering. We offer
you all that happens this day together with all my thoughts, words
and action. In reparations for sins, for the conversion of sinners and
so that your Father may be better known and loved by all men.
Amen
Ableen: Please stand to Honor the Holy Gospel (pause) The Gospel is
taken from the book of Matthew. (Glory to you, O Lord)
Jesus said to his disciples: Stop judging, that you may not be
judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure
with which you measure will be measured out to you. Why do you
notice the splinter in your brothers eye, but do not perceive the
wooden beam in your own eye? How can you say to your brother,
Let me remove that splinter from your eye, while the wooden
beam is in your eye? You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam from
your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from
your brothers eye.
Ableen: The Gospel of the Lord
All: Praise to You Lord, Jesus Christ
Ableen: Lets have a moment of silence to reflect on the Gospel
(pause for awhile) for aour Reflection question:
In this modern time where it is very easy to criticize and point out
other peoples shortcomings, how will you live out our thrust this
year, In Christ, embrace and respond to the call of times? (Give
teachers time to reflect)
Denden: To openly accept and beware of ones mistakes require a
true mature mind and heart. We are quick, however, to pass
judgment and to self-righteously correct others faults. Sometimes,
we tend to judge other people based on our own standard and there
are times that we trying to fix other people but blinded by our own
mistake.
The Lord reminds us that mercy and empathy will help us to see
clearly and understand our neighbors situation. Because were but
human beings, we commits faults and failures in several instances
but with eyes fix with the divine, it will make us aware of our
wooden beams so that we maybe able to remove splinters in

the others. And as Saint Marie Eugenie ones said It is a gift to see
the good side of others
Jheng/Ayan: Activity: Rekindle the sparks of Forgiveness. Lets have
a moment of silence again and think of a one person who ones
judge/criticize or whom we judge and made an impact in our life. As
we begin this school year, lets start to ask and give forgiveness in
our own community.
Gerald: In this modern times, wherever you go or look there is
judgement (esp social media) that if youre a gay, its a sin. If youre
skinny, youre on drugs. If youre fat, youre ugly. If you made a
mistake, your stupid or dumb. We are in a world where you can do
anything without being criticized. We live in a society where people
cant survive if theyre not judging the next person. As an
Assumption educator it is a calling for us to be different and go
beyond. A call for us to look at different perspectives, a calling to
think before we speak. A calling to be humble, kind and loving. A
calling to be In Christ, to embrace and respond to the call of times.
Pope Francis ones said Every time we judge our brother in our
hearts or worse than we speak badly of them with others, we are
murdering Christians
Joshua: Closing prayer
Dearest Lord, give me eyes that always see the goodness of every
person, so that I can see you in everyone I meet. Let go and let God.
Amen.
