1. Course Title: Business English
2. Course Description:
This course is designed to develop students skills necessary to communicate effectively
in various business contexts. It intends to provide students with opportunities for appropriate use
of business English. It focuses on effective writing of business correspondences achieved
through conventions, appropriate diction and purpose. Specifically, it develops students writing
skills in business correspondences, and effective word choice and expressions in business
presentations.

criteria:
CLASS STANDING + TERM EXAM GRADE
CLASS STANDING includes Quizzes, Seatwork, Assignment, Class
Participation, Attendance and other Requirements.
The Semesters Grade for the course is computed based on the following distribution:
30% - Prelim
30% - Midterm
40% - Final
