458 SOCOM HAMMER

The 458 SOCOM Hammer, is the ultimate large game rifle. The firearms is available as a complete
firearms or just the upper receivers. The lower receiver used in this rifle is the same as the 3G18 lower
receiver. This rifle also includes the Magpul Adjustable target stock as pictured.
Not shown in the picture is the gas block that is an available option. The gas block is specifically
designed for this rifle for us and it is fully adjustable. This allows the user to adjust the harmonics of the
barrel for optimum accuracy and reduction of felt recoil. Each rifle is fully configurable by the purchaser to
their own individual requirements. The rifle includes a 7 degree target crown and is capable of 1" groups at
100 yards. A muzzle brake is available at an additional cost.

458 SOCOM UPPER RECEIVERS

History of the Cartridge
The 458 SOCOM Upper Assembly made by Bishop Ammunition Manufacturing is a complete ready to
install upper assembly. There are no changes or modifications required of any AR-15 Lower Assembly to
install our upper assembly. The 458 SOCOM uses standard GI magazines for 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington
AR-15. Our 458 SOCOM barrels are chambered with reamers specifically designed to the published official
design specifications for the 458 SOCOM cartridge. Our upper assemblies will chamber any 458 SOCOM
ammunition following commercially accepted chamber specifications. This means that your rifle shall be
able to feed, chamber, safely fire, and eject any commercial 458 SOCOM ammunition.
Our upper receivers are custom built one at a time. Our barrels are specially made for us to order and
this is the part that delays delivery. Each upper assembly that we make is custom made to the customer's
specifications, not what we have previously determined shall occur. There is a host of options available for
our customers. Because of this each upper assembly is hand assembled and takes 6 to 10 weeks for
delivery. We do however stress 100% satisfaction.

We insist on a stringent barrel break in procedure to assure long life and accuracy. To order a upper
assembly from us there are generally no additional costs over and above our stated price of $750.00 for a
fully assembled ready to fire upper assembly. All that is needed is mounting on your AR-15 lower assembly
with zero modifications and the mounting or your sights or optics. We do require 50% down with the balance
upon completion. There is no charge for shipping as that is included.

This is new made ammunition made with components only from The United States. Each cartridge is
hand made on a Dillon Super 1050. Each cartridge is hand inspected and checked in a cartridge
chambering block made to the dimensions specified by the cartridges designer. Performance is guaranteed.
If you are looking for the North American Game in brush areas or that feral hog look no further. The 458
SOCOM is your answer. The 300 gr TTSX retains 100% of its mass. It is 100% lead free. Approved for use
in all hunting areas in California.
This round expands violently, achieves deep penetration crushing bone and opens up into 4 razor
sharp petals. When you have only one shot and it must count this cartridge will take any game in North
America. The 350 gr CPFP uses bullets by Ranier, the inventor of the copper plated bullet. This cartridge is
excellent for everyday use. With its flat nose it penetrates deep, is perfect for brush areas and crushes
through bone.

The .45 ACP is an effective combat pistol
cartridge that combines accuracy and stopping
power for use against human targets. The
cartridge also has relatively low muzzle blast
and flash, as well as moderate recoil.
Even in its non-expanding full metal jacket (FMJ) version, the .45 ACP cartridge has a reputation for
effectiveness against human targets because its large diameter creates a deep and substantial permanent
wound channel which lowers blood pressure rapidly. Because of its large diameter and straight-walled
design, the .45 ACP geometry is the highest power-per-pressure production, repeating round in existence.
The .45 ACP's combination of stopping power and controlled penetration makes it one of the most effective
cartridges for self defense. Special Operations units of the United States Military continue to use the

The .45 Colt, mistakenly referred to as the 45 Long Colt, is a handgun cartridge having its origins back
to 1872. This cartridge was adopted by the U.S. Army in 1873 and served as an official US military handgun
cartridge for 14 years. The .45 Colt remains popular with renewed interest in Cowboy Action Shooting. This
grandfather of metallic handgun cartridges has seen resurgence as a cartridge in handgun hunting and
Metallic Silhouette Shooting competitions. The 45 Colt is popular in Cowboy Action Shooting competitions
as well. The .45 Colt originally was a black-powder cartridge, but modern loadings use smokeless powder.
Because of the cartridges power and its excellent accuracy, the .45 Colt was the most-used cartridge at the
time of its introduction even succeeding the .44 WCF (or the .44-40 Winchester). Our Copper Lead Free 45
Colt put this round in the same class as the .44 Magnum. These loads cannot be used in any original Colt
Single-Action Army or replica as these guns are built on the smaller frame with thinner cylinder walls. These
loads should be used only in modern large-frame revolvers such as the Ruger Blackhawk, Redhawk, Ruger
Vaquero, Thompson Center Contender or any gun firing the .454 Casull cartridge.

once fired brass, match grade bullets and the most reliable burning powder available. All of our ammunition
is hand inspected prior to boxing and undergoes 7 quality control checks during the manufacturing process.
All of our ammunition is kept to 1/10 of a grain in charge weight. The bullets used in our ammunition are
made for us by X-Treme Bullets, Hornady, Barnes, Rainer and Nosler.

Standard Match Ammunition
Our best selling cartridge as of the writing of this issue is our 45 Auto, (45 ACP) with a 230 gr. TMJ
bullet made for us by X-Treme Bullets. We are proud to announce the introduction and start of production of
our 45 Long Colt with NEW brass made by for us to our specifications. The 45 Long Colt is designed by
Bishop Ammunition to be used in ALL firearms chambered for this cartridge, including replicas.
Cowboy Action
The Cowboy Ammunition, is loaded with lead bullets manufactured by X-Treme Bullets. This
ammunition is loaded in NEW brass and is not reloaded ammunition. By special request this ammunition is
also available in a 200 gr. lead bullet.
X-Treme Defense Solid Copper
The bullet used in our self defense ammunition is a solid copper bullet is manufactured by Barnes.
The TAC-XP bullet is a solid copper bullet, and Barnes designed this bullet to expand up to 1 times its
original diameter while retaining 100% of its original weight. This ammunition is available in 45 Colt (45 Long
Colt), 45 Auto (45 ACP), and 40 S&W, 9mm Luger. This ammunition CANNOT be used in replica
Winchester Rifles, New Model Vaquero, Colt Single Action revolvers or replicas. This is hunting and self
defense ammunition ONLY.
