Sanford Police Arrest Two Subjects for Committing an Armed Robbery
On June 25, 2016, at approximately 02:14 a.m., Sanford Police responded to 110 Chapman
Avenue, Sanford, Florida, in reference to an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, Sanford Police made contact with a victim, identified as Jeffrey Carl Triplett, who
was visiting a friend located at 110 Chapman Avenue, Sanford, Florida.
While Mr. Triplett was outside of the residence, he was approached by three unknown subjects.
Two of the unknown subjects brandished a firearm and removed Mr. Tripletts car keys from his
person. In addition, the unknown subjects stole Mr. Tripletts wallet containing $300.00 in
United States Currency, a Florida Drivers License, two credit cards, a bank card, and a City of
Sanford Mayors badge. Afterwards, the three unknown subjects fled from 110 Chapman
Avenue, Sanford, Florida in Mr. Tripletts Mercedes-Benz.
Based on the information provided by Mr. Triplett, the Sanford Police Department was able to
apprehend two of the three subjects, which were identified as Damarcus Jesse Paige and Jermine
Jacques Horne.
Probable cause was established, which led to the arrest of Damarcus Jesse Paige and Jermine
Jacques Horne. The third subject has not been apprehended for his involvement in the armed
robbery.
The City of Sanford Mayor Jeff Triplett said, Being a victim of a crime is unnerving, yet it
was reassuring to witness both speed and diligence from the Sanford Police Department. It is
disheartening when this type of crime takes place in the City of Sanford. I encourage the
community, its businesses, and the Police Department to continue to work together and stop
this type of violence.

Both Damarcus Jesse Paige and Jermine Jacques Horne were transported to the Seminole County
Correctional Facility and charged with following:
1) Damarcus Jesse Paige
F.S.S. 812.133 (2) (a) Carjacking with a Firearm
F.S.S. 784.021(1) (a) Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
2) Jermine Jacques Horne
F.S.S. 812.133 (2) (a) Carjacking with a Firearm
F.S.S. 784.021(1) (a) Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
F.S.S. 827.041 (1) Contributing to the Delinquency or Dependency of a Minor
The Sanford Police Department is seeking help from the community with any information that
could lead to the apprehension of the third subject.
