CIVILIZATION PROJECT

In this project you will be using what you have learned this year in Social Studies
about different civilizations to create your own unique civilization. You may
choose to create a new ancient civilization or a new future civilization. You must
keep your civilization human and there are no magical or super powers. You are
encouraged to be as creative as possible. You get to decide if you will be working
alone, in a partnership, or in a group of no more than 3. Keep in mind that if you
work with anyone else, everyone has to do their fair share of the project and
everyone will need to complete a self-evaluation which will affect your grade. You
will be required to turn in one project packet with your notes and other materials
on the due date of the presentation. You will have class time to complete this
project but keep in mind that you will also have to do homework to finish on time.
