It is amazing how fast a year progresses. We are already in May and are eagerly anticipating the
full launch of the PIQCV range as we see more and more projects moving to pressure independent control valves as we face pressure from our competitors which have already established their
offering in the market place. The PIQCV being part of the ZoneTight series supports our strategic
intention to move into zone applications and in future will be complimented by more complete control solutions that we are working on such as the Asia Pacific (AP) Variable Air Volume room solution.
Belimo continues to build its brand name as an energy efficiency solution provider as we recently received another award for the Energy Valve for Excellence in Innovation by ISHRAE the India Chapter of
ASHRAE. We have also been prominently displaying our energy efficient solutions and ZoneTight series
at the exhibitions of ACREX India, China Refrigeration and HVAC Taiwan, raising market awareness and
gaining a lot of interest from our existing and potentially new customers.
However, in respect to sales it has been a slow start with the AP consolidated results for the 1st quarter (Q1)
achieving only +5% growth when compared to the previous year. This is well below our expectations and
plan. On a positive note Australia continued to display strong growth of +14% in Q1 and Japan stood out
with +51% growth due to a large VAV sales order of 4,000 units to Azbil. This has brought Azbil back to the
number 1 spot for sales in the AP region (2014 was held by a Chinese customer named Weiming). Furthermore Hong Kong was able to bounce back in Q1 with a growth of +37% and the outlook is positive as we
are specified on some data centre projects and a large scale casino project with our EPIV and EV products.
In these markets the EPIV and EV has gained increasing acceptance from end users and consultants.
Trane AP has also requested Belimo to offer the EPIV as a Trane labelled product which is a good indication
of a commitment to work with Belimo as their preferred Pressure Independent Valve supplier. This will have
the greatest impact across South East Asia and Hong Kong where we are working in close cooperation to
win new business opportunities together. We have also been invited by Honeywell to strengthen our cooperation as they have brought forward the request to move our relationship one step higher to the category
of strategic partner based on the good sales results and support we have given over the past two years.
Congratulations to all of you involved, your good work is recognized by the most important stake holder,
our customer.
As you know one of the key drivers to sales growth is being in front of the customer and addressing the
needs and problems they face in our challenging business environment. During this period of low sales I
encourage our front line team members to aggressively follow through and prioritise on the opportunities
that arise through our promotion and marketing activities and keep in mind that an increase in customer
visits correlates to increase in sales. If we are not out there visiting our customers and supporting them you
can bet on the fact that our competitors will be! Wish those of you in the Northern hemisphere a great start
to the summer and those of you in the Southern Hemisphere a comfortable and mild winter.

Sunway Pyramid Ph 3
Sunway Group is one of Malaysias most formidable property-construction groups, with a multitude of established businesses

Sunway Pyramid is an integrated shopping mall and resort.
The Egyptian-inspired theme shopping mall first opened its
doors in 1997 and was an instantaneous hit. Due to its success a new wing was added in 2007 and is currently constructing the Phase 3. Phase 3 consists of a 33-storey hotel
block while the podium floors will be a retail area. This project will be linked to the existing Sunway Pyramid mall. This
project is expected to be completed by 2016.

ACREX India Bangalore, trade fair for air conditioning and refrigeration
26-28th Feb, 2015
ACREX India is an international exhibition on air conditioning, refrigeration and building services. It provides an ideal platform
for the exchange of ideas among professionals and the opportunity to highlight the latest products, trends and innovations
in the industry. Special focus is on products and services for energy efficiency and saving. Target visitors of the fair are air
conditioning, refrigeration and heating and ventilation engineers, architects and interior designers, facility managers as well
as end users from the private and public sector. Exhibitions are the best face-to-face marketing opportunity for companies
around the world. They provide outstanding sales, marketing, research, branding, financial, and other rewards for companies
that understand some important exhibition marketing fundamentals.
ACREX 2015 was held at BIEC, Bangalore which had near 400 exhibitors and witnessed 30,000 visitors.

Belimo India has participated successfully in the event along with our esteem customers and partners. Our custom designed
50 sq.mt stall with 40 years of Innovation theme & live demo was one of the best stall in the exhibition. We received over 350
quality visitors to our stall. We had only displayed the product which has significant Energy Saving potential i.e. Energy Valve,
Air Valve, PIQCV, PICCV etc.. All these products were well appreciated especially by consultants.
Energy Valve demo kit was the center of attraction, with full working capability we were able to exhibit crucial functionalities
such as Delta T Manager, Pressure Independency, Coil Characteristic etc. And then came the pleasant surprise, Energy
Valve was presented with the Award of Excellence in innovation category by the ISHRAE.
Apart from BELIMO products, there was a dedicated section for Thermokon. Many of the key OEMs and End users have
shown interest in these sensors.

As a special mention, we had showcased our Shared logic solution on the AHU manufactured by Advantek air systems at
their stall. With the great capability of Shared logic platform we were able to provide solutions for Controlling supply, return
and fresh air dampers, controlling the water flow rate with CCV, differential pressure switches across the fan and the filter,
potentiometer for fan speed adjustment and control based on temperature, relative humidity, CO2 and VOC sensor. We
could provide the graphics of the functioning of the AHU along with the set point
and measured values of the parameters. We could schedule the start and stop
operations of the AHU. The AHU dampers, valve and fan motor was interlocked
with Fire status.
To sum up all, ACREX 15 event was a grand success and we were able to
strengthen our brand image as an Innovative product company.

Belimo China Participated in CRH 2015

Belimo China participated in the 26th China Refrigeration Exhibition which was held at the Shanghai New International Expo
Centre from 8th to 10th April, 2015. The exhibition area was over 103,500 square meters with approximately 1,126 exhibitors
from more than 31 countries and districts.
Our exhibits included the Belimo Energy Valve, QCV, VAV and NFC actuators. Many customers, engineers, end users and
E&M consultants showed a keen interest.

On the first day of the exhibition, Belimo held a seminar on the topic of Belimo
Energy Valve. Wang Nan, Head of RAC China, gave a brilliant presentation on
the operation principle, applications and advantages when installing the Belimo
Energy Valve which was of great interest to the audience.
This exhibition was very successful, thanks to our clients as well as to our
Belimo colleagues.

Belimo Taiwan Participated in its first HVAC Expo in Taipei
Belimo Taiwan participated in 2015 HVAC Expo, the biggest HVAC Expo in
Taiwan, from 8th to 11th April. It is held every two years at Exhibition Hall 3,
Taipei World Trade Centre. The exhibition area in Taiwan District is 6,748 square
meters and has the capacity for 365 standard exhibition booths.
The theme at our stand was 40 years of innovation from Belimo. Exhibits included
PIQCV, Globe Valves and new Fire and Smoke products from the BFL and BFN
series, which highlighted the patented function of Safety Position Lock. We also
collaborated with our Taiwan business partners to demonstrate with displays for
our VAV solution, which is now compatible with NFC function. Many customers, engineers, end users and E&M consultants
showed a keen interest.

Last but not the least was our main focus the Belimo Energy Valve. Belimo Taiwan had launched its first Belimo Energy
Valve project in St Pauls Hospital in Taoyuan City in Taiwan. The technical engineers for this project and Managing Director
from the hospital had visited our booth. We are glad to have their support and have their confidence in our product. We have
successfully demonstrated the good service and superior quality of our products so that further cooperation is anticipated.

On the last day of the exhibition, Belimo Taiwan had organised a two-hour seminar. Mr Dennis Ho, Belimo Asia Pacific Regional Application Consultant (AP RAC) was invited to make a presentation on the topic of Managing Low Delta T Syndrome
in HVAC Systems, while Mr AC Teng, Taiwan Regional Manager, made a summary on the St Pauls Hospitals Project. The
presentation was successful and the audiences showed a great interest in our products, especially our Belimo Energy Valve.

SCA TITANS CUP 2015
Belimos Distributor in Malaysia, Source Code Asia - being an avid fan of sports
networking - has done it again with the SCA TITANS CUP 2015. Making this an
annual event and now the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament, SCA TITANS CUP 2015
was played at Impian Golf & Country Club on 20th January 2015. Belimo was a cosponsor for this event and helped to make this tournament a huge success. The
tournament drew 44 players, playing in two-man teams Team US & Team EU.
Already making it into the 3rd year since 2013, we saw strong participation from
developers, contractors and consultants from Malaysias Mechanical and Electrical Industry. The weather on the day was exceptionally friendly. All the golfers
had a great time enjoying the green while fostering friendships and camaraderie.
The 44 players were divided into 11 flights based on the qualifying scores. System 36 was used in the play to determine the
winner, based on Stableford points accumulated over 18 holes. The Titans Cup Champion title was won by Mr Gopal Narian Kutty with a score of 38 points. Mr Gopal Narian Kutty is the Head Mechanical Engineer of the Malaysian Public Works
Department, also known locally as JKR. JKR is a department under the Ministry of Works, Malaysia.

Belimo Hong Kong Colleagues participated in ACRA Spring Dinner 2015

Hong Kong Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Association
(ACRA) held the spring dinner in the Grand Hall, Wan Chai.
We were keen to participate in this event to strengthen our
network in the Hong Kong HVAC industry.
Six colleagues represented Belimo, along with over 300 other attendees. The organiser arranged mini games, a lucky
draw and a beer competition for the guests.

Presentation in ASHRAE Singapore Chapters Members' Night
Belimo Singapore proudly presented the topic on Managing Low Delta T Syndrome in HVAC Systems during ASHRAE Singapore Chapters Members Night
held 3rd March 2015. As this day fell within the Lunar New Years 15 day celebration, a series of activities were organised by the Ashrae Singapore Chapter
(ASC). First there was a traditional lion dance and then the guests were invited
to a buffet dinner with the Lo Hei tradition being the dinners highlight. This was
followed by the distribution of ASC members T-shirts for 2015 and then the presentation from Belimo.
Approximately 100 guests attended the night. Attendees consisted of ASHRAE
members and non-members, Consultants, Energy Consultants, BMS Control
Specialists, Institution Representatives and Contractors.

An area was allocated for the display of Belimo Energy Valves. Alvin Chan and
Daphne Kohr from Belimo and Mr Neoh, our Singapore distributor from VACE
Pte Ltd, answered many questions and assisted the guests with logging on to the
Energy Valves using web-view.
Dennis Ho, Regional Application Consultant from Belimo AP office presented this
topic. The presentation was enthusiastically received and generated considerable
interest.
