Warmer
Teacher energizes the class by singing Two
kind doctors from page 30. They bring out the
finger puppets to act out the song.
Teacher asks children to open their CB on
page 32 and look at pictures. The girl on the
picture is Milly. Then she asks pupils to tell
her who the other persons on the pictures.
She encourages them to say what they are
talking about. Pupils predict.
Teacher points to the picture of Millys
mum. She is a nurse. She says that she is a
nurse.
She invites pupils to work in pairs and look at
different jobs in the pictures. Then they take
turns to point to the pictures and say the jobs
words.
T goes through each picture in turn. Children
say the job word for each one.

capital letters at the beginning of the sentence
and the full stop at the end.
Then she rewrites second sentence and invites
a pupil to come up to the board and circle the
capital letter and full stop. Then she calls up
other pupils to come to the front and write
them back in. then they do the exercise into
their CB. Teacher allows them enough time to
finish. She goes through the answers on the
board.
