Ian Malesiewski is a 16 year old wrestler at Cathedral Prep who was injured in at the Fila Cadet
Freestyle/Greco tournament in Akron, Ohio on June 3rd, 2016. Ians injury included broken bones in
his neck along with spinal cord damage. He has a very long road of medical treatments and rehab to
hopefully regain his mobility and strength. I ask that you please consider joining us for a great day
of wrestling and show your support for Ian and the Malesiewski family.
Weigh-Ins Friday august 5th, 5pm-7pm and Saturday August 6th- 7am-8:30am & 11am to 12pm
Open, Elementary and novice will wrestle in AM session and jr hi & high school in PM session.
Entry Fee $25.00 Online Pre-registered wrestlers.
$30.00 for walk up registration
ENTRIES WILL BE CAPPED AT 300 IN EACH SESSION! Tournament WILL fill up quickly!

Rules: Modified High School Rules, Mouth Guards & Hairnets, Singlet, Wrestling Shoes.
Open, HS & MS Divisions Wrestle: Three 1 minute periods.
Youth Wrestle: (3) 1 minute periods

Novice Info
2 years or less of wrestling experience.
All Novice wrestlers will be weighed in and paired up with opponents close in weight, age and
ability.
We will utilize a point structure. All wrestlers will be awarded an award when they earn 15 points.
Wins are worth 5 points and losses are worth 3 points.
