SALVATION

Salvation

We all have sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy
that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived
a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve,
was buried, and rose from the dead.
21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become
the righteousness of God. (2 Corinth. 2:21)

According to the Bible if you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as
your personal Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend
eternity with God in heaven.
Most people misunderstands that salvation is earned through human effort of following law.
In the book of James it says For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
(James 2:10)

Its not that law is wrong. Law has shown us that we are sinners. Jesus dint come to the world to
perish the law but to fulfill it.
What shall we say then? [Is] the Law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have
known sin except through the Law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the
Law had said, "You shall not covet." (Romans 7:7)

As per Old Testament law, sins shall be forgiven by sheading the sinless blood. Though how
much we tried we inherited the Adams sinful nature into our flesh. Thats why Father sent his
only Son to the world to shed his sinless blood for our sins.
In the book of Galatians it says 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because the righteous will
live by faith. (Galatians 3:11)

Salvation is not a reward, Salvation is by grace based only upon the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.
It is based upon what He has done, not upon what we have done. Salivation comes only through
Jesus Christ but not by our deeds. Salvation cannot be gained through self-righteousness. Selfrighteousness of refraining ourselves from all bad habits, and by doing all good deeds that exist
in the world and going to church, reading bible, joining the fellowship of believers and following
the commandments itself does not mean we are saved, unless we have faith in Jesus Christ.
Salvation comes by grace through faith.
"He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He
saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,"(Titus 3:5)

Jesus is the only savior. He was crucified on cross as a punishment for all our sins 2000 years
back. So that He saved us from all our past, present and future sins. By dying on the cross Christ

SALVATION
prepared a gift of salvation for every human being. Hence salvation is a gift of God and it is our
responsibility to accept this gift of Salvation from God through faith in Jesus Christ.
In the book of Ephesians it says 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this is not from yourselves, it is
the gift of God 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Key verse of

salvation which every Christian should remember)

Justification by faith evidenced in Old Testament as well
1 What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found?
2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before
God.
3 For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as
righteousness.
4 Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due.
5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith
is credited as righteousness, (Romans 4:15)

Martin Luther also taught that Salvation and subsequently eternal life is not earned by good
deeds but is received only as a free gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ as redeemer
from sin.
9 If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that
you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)

So by grace god has given us the gift of salvation and through faith we receive this gift from god
but not by our works. Hence we should confess with our mouth that Jesus is the lord and through
faith (believe in heart) that he died for our sins and rose form dead. We must know that salvation
is only through faith, and faith comes through hearing the word of god.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17)

So Romans 10:9, 10 teach that faith (believing in heart) and confession are necessary for
salvation. These verses mention confessing Jesus is the lord, but not confession of sin.
Confession of sins is related to repentance (change of mind) and has to do with forgiveness and
not to do with justification (Salvation). Adding the requirement of confessing ones sins in order
to be eternally saved is adding man's efforts to Gods finished work on the cross; to His good
news of salvation by grace through faithnot of works (Eph. 2:8, 9).

SALVATION
Nevertheless, anyone who comes to Christ and desires to have his sins forgiven, will have his
sins forgiven. It is by confessing our sins that we receive the forgiveness which we need when
we fail God but not salvation. Of course, our sins do not result in the loss of our eternal salvation.
But they do interrupt harmonious personal relations with God our heavenly Father, and
forgiveness through confession of sins restores that harmony.
If we have to count and list out our sins, we cannot be able to recall all of them. Our sins are
numerous. However, some Christians are troubled by the thought that they may have failed to
confess all their sins. If that were actually a problem, none of us would be exempt from it. Who
can possibly know all of their sins? Obviously, God alone knows them all.
1 John 1:9 contains the answer to this concern.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

Since no one can confess what he does not know, clearly the verse calls upon us to confess the
sins we know. God never gives us impossible commands. But what about the sins we do not
know?
The sins which we do not know are also taken care of according to 1 John 1:9. If we confess the
sins we know, God forgives us the sins we confess. But He does more than that. He also is
faithful "to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness"! So that's the answer!
"All unrighteousness" is dealt with by His grace so that, after my confession to Him, I can walk
with Him knowing that my harmony with Him is fully repaired. What a perfect provision! Let's
not torment ourselves with our unknown failures.
We shouldnt be sin conscious:
Once we confess our sins we have forgiven and we no longer the sinner but the righteousness of
god.
However by keep on confessing of our sins and our disobedience to god i.e. Im a sinner and
unworthy for his grace etc. even after you receive the forgiveness from god, we may become sin
conscious not spirit conscious and our mind impresses us that we are fallen away from His grace.
Again we must recall that our sins do not result in the loss of our eternal salvation. But they do
interrupt harmonious personal relations with God our heavenly Father, and forgiveness through
confession of sins restores that harmony. There is a saying confession brings possession. Thats
why sometimes continues confession of sins may lead sin to rule over our lives.
For God says in the Bible that he no longer remembers our sins and removed our sins from us.
As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our sins from us (Psalm 103:12)
"I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not
remember your sins" (Isaiah 43:25)

SALVATION
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I
remember no more. (Heb. 8:12)

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (Heb. 10:17)

God chooses not to remember our sins. He chooses never to bring them up again. He doesn't
forget because He cannot, but He doesn't remember them either; that is, He will never bring them
up again. Why? Because they have been forgiven in His Son Jesus.
This is why, when we read Hebrews 11, we will see a listing of great people of faith: Abraham,
Moses, David, etc. Yet, none of their sins are listed even though they were sinners. Why?
Because God remembers their sins no more. So why are we supposed cling unto our past sinful
life to let sin to rule over us.
Shall we sin again as we are not under Law but under grace?
Then is that mean shall we sin again as we are not under Law but under grace? Paul answers this
question clearly in the book of Romans 6th chapter that we who are dead to sin are no longer
allowed to continue in sin.
(Romans 6: 1-23)
Dead to Sin, Alive to God
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not
know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His
death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just
as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also
shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was
crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no
longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we
died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ,
having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over
Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He
lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to
sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its
lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to
sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members
as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over
you, for you are not under law but under grace.

From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God

SALVATION
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace?
Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to
obey, you are that ones slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or
of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you
were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you
were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of
righteousness. 19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh.
For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of
lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of
righteousness for holiness.
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For
the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and
having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end,
everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord.

We should speak Faith:

We believe therefore we speak. All the promises of God belong to the believing Christian.
Whether we receive them or not is our choice. Learn how to affirm the Word of God in your
heart and release God's power through faith-filled words. Without scriptural confession, we are
missing a key element in entering into the blessings and benefits that Jesus already provided for
us.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit
thereof. (Proverbs 18-21)

Words have power! In the natural world they can hurt or heal one's feelings and attitudes.
However, in the spiritual world they are containers of power that can change your life, direct
your future, and allow you to get your life in line with God's Will! Words can carry God's Power
to literally heal your body, bring financial blessing to your circumstances, and bring the promises
of God's Word into this natural realm to bless you and your family!
Speaking the Word is called "Confession." There is a saying, "Confession brings possession." In
order for the Power of God to cause something that God has promised to be manifested in this
natural realm, you must speak, or confess, His Word and agree with God! Then God will back up
His promise by bringing it to pass in this natural realm! You must speak the Word!
13 It is written: I believed; therefore I have spoken. Since we have that same spirit of
faith, we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the
Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself.
15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may
cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 4:13:15)

So lets all who believed and therefore saved shall continue to live to glorify Jesus throughout
our lives and never turn back. Love your bible. Love reading your bible and love knowing god

SALVATION
more and more. Keep the word in your heart so that we should not sin again. Accept Jesus as our
lord and ask of his assistance in all that we do. Acknowledge god in all places not just when we
are at church or in fellowship.
Being saved we have the responsibility to share gospel to others who do not know. Whomsoever
we share the gospel, we need to made them pray that they will receive salvation. Sometimes
during salvation prayer some people feel some peace like that some power is pouring, and some
may not experience anything. We most people has an assumption of something super natural will
happen. We should know that super natural things may happen or may not. Even super natural
things happen or not when we share the gospel according to the word of god people will be
saved. Whenever we walk someone through salvation believe one thing that if you share gospel
according to the word of god those people will be saved. Those people need to believe that
JESUS IS THE LORD. Subject is not in confession but subject is in believing. YOU BELIVE
AND YOU WILL CONFESS but not that you confess so you believed.
