DEPUTY TAHASILDAR /MUNICIAPL COMMISSIONER For the two posts of Deputy
Tahasildar/MunicipalCommissionerforwhichpostthecandidatesmaygiventheir
priority.BasicallytheDeputyTahasildarisasupervisorpostandhehasassisttothe
Tahasildar.Thecandidatewhojoinedinthispostmaygethispromo ontothepost
of Tahasildar within 6 to 10 years me. By the me of re rement the candidates
whoareinthislinewillreachtocadreofDeputyCollector.
Six yeas back the Deputy Tahasildar posts have been lled with direct quota
candidates. In the Department d between the candidates of promotes and the
direct quota candidates an administra ve dispute is running i.e., on their
promo ons.Inviewofthisdisputethecandidateswhoareinterestedtojoininthis
postmaygaintheirpromo ontotheirhigherpostbylate.
MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONER (GRADE III) In previous recruitment me also the
numberpostshavenotbeenlled.Ifcomparedtothepayscaleswiththepostsof
Deputy Tahasildar post scale, the scale of Municipal commissioner (GradeIII) is
seems to higher. The candidates who have selected to this post have to work
independently and work with people. The poli cal pressure is heavy on this post.
Ten years me will be taken to get their promo on to post of Municipal
commissionerGradeII.Howeverthecandidateswhoarejoininthispost,theywill
reach to the Post of Municipal commissioner II, on their promo on. A er
examina on on these two points, the candidates can select one post as rst
preferenceandtheycangivesecondpreferencetoanotherpost.
THIRDPREFERENCETOTHEPOSTOFA.C.T.ODuringtheyear2003,thecandidates
haveoverlookedthepostDeputyTahasildarpostandpreferencehasgivenbythem
tothepostofA.C.T.O.Inviewofthelatestreformsundertakeninthisdepartment
andonotherissuesthecandidateshavenotshownanyinterestoccupythispost.
Due to latest changes also the preference of the post is reduced. However third
preferencecanbeaccordedtothispost.Thenextpromo onisD.C.T.O.Minimum
810 years me will be taken to get this promo on. If compared to the posts of
DeputyTahasildar/MunicipalcommissionergradeIIItheworkpresseronthispost
is very less. Without any disturbances to the common regular life the candidates

suitabletotheyouthpeopleandtheycanworkinthispostwithinterest.Towear
