Project Scope

The project scope involves Implementation of Office 365 Cloud solution (Exchange
online, Skype for Business, OneDrive for Business) along with Successful migration
of its existing mail users and associated data and functionality from on-premise
Exchange to the Microsoft Office 365 online service. Specific objectives include:
1. Bidder should create the end to end architecture of the overall solution.
2. Bidder should create the high level and low level design for the overall
solution.
3. Bidder should ensure the industry recommended practice implemented
during the migration.
4. Implement the Office 365 plus archiving/e-discovery for some users.
5. Provisioning of all Malysia Airlines Users mailboxes on Office 365 Exchange
online with appropriate quota.
6. All active mailboxes (approx xxxxx) and email users will be migrated to Office
365. This includes individual employee mailboxes and shared mailboxes.
7. All online & Local pst archives will be migrated to Office 365.
8. All active individual and shared calendars will be migrated to Office 365.
9. Delegated access to mailboxes and calendars will be migrated to Office 365.
10.Migration of Users local mail archive file, address book to their corresponding
Office365 mailbox with the help of automation tool and minimal Users
intervention.
11.Resolution of all technical escalated issues encountered during migration
from on-premise Exchange to Exchange online.
12.Assist in determining required network bandwidth for mailbox migration from
On-Premise Exchange to Exchange online and Users local archive to their
online mailbox.
13.Hardware sizing, design, installation and configuration of Active Directory
(ADFS & ADFS proxy, DirSync, Hybrid Servers) for office 365.
14.Active Directory Analysis and Advisory Services with Directory
Synchronization
15.DirSync Installation and configuration of Directory Synchronization between
the Active Directory and Office 365. Hybrid Server Installation & Configuration
leading to Pilot migration verification and validation)
16.Migrate mandatory disclaimers and retain the ability to assign various
mandatory disclaimers to specific users email messages based on either
Organizational Unit (OU) membership and/or group membership.
17.Mail routing with a shared domain namespace, Sub-domain mail routing and
Free/busy calendar status between on-premises and Office 365 cloud-based
organizations need to implement till successful Project closure
18.Users will authenticate to Office 365 using their on-premise Active Directory
username and password.

19.Deployment (front end deployment) Around 36 sites and 1.8k laptop that
need to reinstall and configure Office Suits which includes, Outlook 2013,
Skype For Business and OneDrive for business
20.Enable Skype for Business (O365) and OneDrive for Business (O365) for all
eligible users.
21.Office 365 administrative roles will be defined and the staff assigned to those
roles will be trained on the administrative functions they will be responsible
for.
22.Office 365 end user support roles will be defined and the staff assigned to
those roles will be trained on the support functions they will be responsible
for.
23.Malysia Airlines expects the Bidder to identify all risks during the requirement
gathering activity and their mitigation plan should be part of the
implementation activity and properly documented.
24.Bidder should understand the complete requirement and do the infrastructure
sizing for on-premises Active Directory solution. The sizing should be scalable
and robust to support all users include YOY growth.
25.Bidder needs to provide their recommendation related to required network
bandwidth which should provide the best end user experience for accessing
office 365 cloud services form all office locations.
26.Bidder shall perform Project Management for Planning, System Readiness and
Testing, Data Migration and Validation for the entire project.
27.Bidder shall advise any configuration issues in the current exchange and
active directory environment to the Office 365 environment.
28.Bidder should ensure the security of Malysia Airlines proprietary and
confidential data throughout the migration process.
