INTRODUCTION
Since the discovery of chemotherapy in
oncology scientist struggled to find a drug (or even a combination of drugs) that would be active only on malignant cells, and thus leaving normal cells unharmed. It is knowed that some natural flavonoid such as quercetin (QC; 3,5,7,3,4pentahydroxyflavone), posses chemopreventive, anti-cancer, anti-mutagenic, cardioprotective, anti-inflammatory, antiallergenic and anti-microbial properties [1 7]. A particular feature of quercetin is that it can exert a dual, pro- and anti-oxidant effect, depending on dosage and treatment time. In addition, in vitro research suggests that malignant cells may be more susceptible than normal cells to the cytotoxicity of some flavonoids. Thus, only a few agents, including quercetin, are currently known to possess such potential for selective elimination of cancer cells while exerting cytoprotective effects on normal cells The Introduction should introduce the background to the work that has been carried out. It should contain citations to the key literature to support this rationale and should lead to a clearly stated hypothesis or set of objectives. References must be added in the text with superscripts1.
This section should state the materials
and describe the procedures and techniques used in the study. Subheadings can be used. Sample size and statistical methods used should be indicated in this section. Gelatin was chemically modified with methacrylamide side groups, resulting in a degree of substitution (DS) of 61%, as described in a previous work2
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
The section should provide a summary
and discussion of the findings. Proper figures and/or tables with appropriate legends should be presented to support the results of the study. If using histology or microscopic imagesscale bars should be included. There should be sufficient information for the reader to understand, but it is not necessary to write an extensive text to explain all the detail. Phase contrast and fluorescence microscopy after live/dead staining revealed that after 1 day of seeding on MAG hydrogels, HFF cells were well spread and with an elongated morphology.
Hydrogels consisting in two or more
components represent reliable materials for tissue engineering (TE) and regenerative medicine applications due to the superior properties of the final product when compared with the properties of each individual component as such...

CONCLUSION
The conclusions should briefly summarize
the findings of the study based on the facts in evidence and include any suggestions for future studies. In vitro cell adhesion and proliferation tests demonstrated that the MAG-PHEMA hydrogels showed a promising cell activity for future tissue engineering applications.
