More than 110 acres, 5,000 different ornamental plants,
walking trails and a horticultural library are available on
the Swarthmore College campus grounds. The library
contains over 1,300 garden-related books; hundreds of
magazines, catalogs, newsletter; and a collection of
brochures from gardens worldwide. The Arboretum is
open from dawn to dusk daily and the offices and library
are open from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
