Job Summary
Due to recent project wins within our civil infrastructure team we are excited to be
growing our team. We are seeking a Civil Engineer - Cities for our Civil Infrastructure
team. In this role you will be a key member of our multi-disciplined design engineering
team. Whilst you will rely on your general civil engineering experience to be successful
in this role you will have particular industry experience in urban precinct projects
providing technical advice to both project teams and clients.

You will work on complex, large scale projects that deliver high standard outcomes for
AECOM clients.
Minimum Requirements

Undertake general civil design work on urban precinct and linear transport
infrastructure projects for both government and private clients. An appreciation
of all aspects of civil engineering including road, drainage, and earthworks
design is required.

Manage and undertake utility design including water, wastewater, power, gas,
telecoms and private assets to the relevant engineering standards

Liaise with Clients, Contractors and utility providers regarding designs


including seeking approvals and providing construction support

Checking calculations, specifications and drawings

Develop and retain a high level of technical skill

Provide high quality technical advice to clients and ensures that the needs of
clients are understood and met

Project management activities will include submitting proposals and project and
design management for civil infrastructure projects.

Be able to work in high performing, motivated and engaged teams

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or similar

In excess of 3 years experience in a civil engineering role

CP Eng qualified or in process of gaining qualification

Consulting experience
