Currently there is no location in Porterville for those parents who are
working at regaining custody of their children and we at CCFCC are happy
that we will be of service to help bring families back together.

seen that life is not always easy and
monies are always tight. The joy I see

A client made a comment
regarding all the items she
has bought over the last
year at Treasures. She said that in the
past she was not able to afford to
purchase anything because of her
abuser, but now that she is able to, she
looks around her house and admires her
items with a smile on her face.
HPRP Rapid Re-Housing
HPRP Rapid Re-Housing is a program to assist individuals and families
who are experiencing homelessness and need assistance in order to obtain
and retain housing. The services offered are: temporary rent assistance,
security deposit assistance, case management, and utility assistance.
People eligible are those that are
currently living in an emergency
shelter, a transitional housing, or on
the streets. Also, to be eligible the
household income has to be at or
below 50% area median income
(AMI) and lack financial resources
and support networks needed to
obtain immediate housing.

is up and running!
United Way of Tulare County is over
seeing this new service for all of Tulare
County. 211 is a one stop call for all
residents of Tulare County to get
connected to services and agencies
within the county. This service is
provided 24 hours a day 7 days a week
with Multi-lingual operators answering
the lines. When a community member
calls they will be directed to services
and agencies that they may need and or
volunteer opportunities with agencies
that need the help. These services
include, housing assistance, health care,
senior services, mental health,
substance abuse and domestic violence,
to name a few. Central California
Family Crisis Center was at the official
opening on March 25, 2010.

I became the Legal Advocate for Central California Family Crisis Center in August of
2006. I have seen many changes. One thing has not changed my passion to help
those in need. As the legal advocate I assist with the paperwork for filing in the
Visalia court for a Domestic Violence Restraining Order. Those seeking assistance
