At any point during his/her stay in SPSPS Accountacy Program, a student who incu

rs a grade of below 2.5 in any of his/her major subjects such as Accounting, Law
, Taxation, Management Advisory courses, and Auditing will automatically be subj
ect for appropriate regulatory action.Such action will consist of retaking the s
ubject, restriction from taking higher major subjects whose pre-requisite includ
es the uncompleted subject, and disqualification from taking regular Qualifying,
Comprehensive or Preboard Examinations.The aforesaid resulting prohibitions sha
ll only be removed once the subject has been successfully completed by the stude
nt with compliance with the Accountancy Program's 2.5 maintaining grade.This pol
icy will be applied to the incoming second year students. Thus, currently enroll
ed 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year and 5th year BSA Studentswill no longer be subje
ct to this policy.
Further, the Accountancy Department will conduct Qualifying and Comprehensive Ex
aminations only once (1) every end of the semester. Students who are unable to p
ass the regular examinations will be given removal examinations at the end of th
e immediately succeeding semester.Failure then to pass the regular examination w
ill render the student unable to enroll in higher major subjects in specific cir
cumstances as aligned with the existing rules and regulations currently implemen
ted by the Accounting Department. This policy will be implemented starting June
the First Semester of Academic Year 2016-2017 to the incoming second year studen
ts.
It has also been agreed by the body that the Notice of Admission (NOA) form shal
l be brought by the examinee during the examination days.In case of loss, the st
udent shall pay a compliance fee of Php50.00 to get another copy of such form. I
f in unforthcoming circumstances, the reason for the loss is due to "fortuitous
events" or causes beyond which the students foresight could have never anticipat
ed the matter will be deliberated for reasonable consideration with the Accounta
ncy Department.
