PUBLIC CALL NOTICE

As part of the activities of the GELP-COLIN Research Group, of the

Interdisciplinary
Laboratory
of
Languages,
Communications
and
Subjectivities - LinCoS and of the Laboratory Language and Cognition LINC, in partnership with the Graduate Program in Linguistics at the
Federal University of Cear - PPGL / UFC, the Applied Linguistics Program at
the State University of Cear - PosLA / UECE, the Estacio University Center
of Cear and the Federal University of Maranho UFMA, we gladly inform
that the I CIVIP 2016 I INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON
VIOLENCE, POLITENESS, CONFLICT MEDIATION AND ACCESS TO
JUSTICE will be held in Fortaleza, from September 8 to September 10,
2016.
Based on multi- and transdisciplinary perspectives of linguistics, literature,
psychology, law and related fields, the event aims primarily at addressing
the problem of violence in its various forms and, considering this issue, at
pointing to attitudes and actions which focus not only on raising awareness
about this phenomenon, but also on discussing alternatives for coping with
situations related to the insecurity caused by the increasing spread of
violence episodes, so as to find solutions for a better handling of this
problem.
The I CIVIP 2016 will include lectures, round tables, communications and
poster sessions.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Paper submission will be carried out exclusively by the site
www.civip2016.com in the "Abstract Submission" menu;
2. Papers will be accepted in the English language or Portuguese language
for communications, coordinated sessions and posters;
3. Abstracts must be sent either in English or in Portuguese, and should be
200 to 250-word long, in Times New Roman font, size 12, single-spaced,
with a centralized title, and anonymously-submitted. Access to information
about authors will be in the metadata option.

4. Up to 04 keywords should be listed, 2 spaces below the abstract;

5. If requested by the Scientific Committee, a corrected version of the work
submitted must be sent, otherwise this paper will not be presented;
6. There will be neither co-authors inclusion nor paper title change after
the submission deadline.
