St.

Marina
I learn from her to be meek and kind and to not blame others and defend myself but to let God
defend me. I also learn from her to accept any punishment even if it is not mine as a tribulation
from God for any other sin that I did and take it with patience and joy to glorify his name.
St. Macrina
I learn from her the way to be a good sister and daughter and mother. She was everything at the
same time: took responsibility of the house after her father died and encouraged her mom during
his death. She was the best daughter too; she helped her mom with house chores and obeyed her
mother wisely and kindly. She loved her three younger brothers and led each one of them to the
Lord. She influenced them with her kind personality and prayer to become saints. Her brothers
became St. Cyril, St. Peter, and St. Augustine. After they all grew up and two became Bishops,
she encouraged her mom to go the Monastery and they both became nuns. She was the best
sister, daughter, and like a mother to every brother.
