3. INTRODUCTION
Sociology is the systematic study of human life. History deals with unique events
relating to past. Economics is deals with activist relating to production and
consumption. These social studies do not give a complete picture of society.
Sociology on the other hand studies in his entirely. Sociology is the study of social
problems. It is also the study of human relationship, especially the study of the
origins, organization, institutions and development of human society.
Karl Marx and Max Weber are most successful eminent sociologists in the world.
Their contribution towards sociology is really awesome. Many theories relating to
sociology were developed by the eminent sociologists Max Weber and Karl Marx. But
in reality Weber are conflicts and sometimes familiar with Karl Marx theories.
Max Weber, the German sociologist was born in Germany. In the beginning he studied
law, later he shifted to the study of social science. He was interested in the study of
legal history and economic history. Max Weber explains the term sociology in the
concept of social action and social relationship, it influence by an action of past,
present and future. He explained various types of social actions. Max Weber
sociology method is also important for the analysis of the social phenomenon. Max
Weber tried to analyse the relationship between religion and economic system in the
society.
Karl Marx lived from 1818 to 1883. He initially studied law and later he turned to the
study of philosophy and sociology. He is known for his famous book the philosophy
of poverty and the communist manifesto, das capital. His theories are related to the
poverty, Marxism etc. The communist manifesto speaks about many perspectives like
inheritance, progressive system, universal free education, child labour etc. according
to the Marx nature is a continuous state of movement and change.

The research problem of this project is that to find the comparisons between the two
eminent sociologists are Max Weber and Carl Marx and also similarities.
