As the client owner, I manage strategic relationships with top level executives within high profile employer groups,
insurance companies, Co-Ops on the Exchange (ACA) technology organizations, health plans and third party
administrators, etc. As the primary business contact, I focus on growing/retaining client business by marketing our PPO
network and various other cost containment solutions such as Clinical negotiations, Waste and Abuse and Medical
Reimbursement Analytics. Duties also include assisting in developing training material, corporate marketing material and
consulting with the broker community. I develop and implement business plans for sales, revenue/budget forecasts, sales

Was responsible for day-to-day management of many national accounts; including high-profile technology vendors, as
well as payors and insurance companies. Managed a staff of 3 responsible for budgeting, sales proposals, marketing, data
exchange, business plan development, client implementation, claims adjudication and resolution. Worked directly with
senior-level client staff to ensure revenue goals and customer service standards were exceeded.
Key Achievements:
Turned several national software vendors into viable profitable clients by developing a product to automate
claims repricing for product users. This allowed software users to expedite claims turnaround time and reduce
administration costs all while increasing current revenue
Recovered 400K in accounts receivable while adding additional revenue to national client.
*Project Director (1997)
Assigned to manage overall aspect of Florida State Employees Self Insurance (FSESI) Plan and vendor relations. At the
time, FSESI was Beech Streets largest client with over $2.6M in annual revenue. Coordinated efforts of other vendors
including; utilization management, regional PPO networks, State of Florida agency personnel, software vendor for claims
management and training staff. Managed all aspects of relationship including; staff support, IT support and
implementation, AS 400 training for claims repricing, customer service support, claims resolution, audits, state
presentations and meetings and original Request for Proposal.

State of Florida audit passed for the first time under my supervision
Reduced data errors of provider file paid claims accuracy by 12%

UNISYS

1994-1997

*Customer Service Supervisor (TPA Division)(1996-1997)


Managed 12 direct reports in Customer Service Call Center during and after implementation of Florida Sate Employees
Health Insurance Plan (self insured). Developed plan matrix using RIMS claims administration software, hired and
trained customer service staff and claims team. Trained claims processors, adjustments clerks, call center representatives
and marketing representatives, developed phone scripts, trained internal and external customers/staff, coordinated and
designed off-site employee meetings and orientations throughout Florida. Developed and trained provider relations team
responsible for statewide training and service. Knowledgeable of entire plan components including, benefits, provider
data/education, utilization review, case management, claim adjudication, etc.
Key Achievements:
Worked directly on implementation team to design and create policy and procedures for entire customer service
team including developing customer service section of RFP
Developed PC-based training system that saved the company several thousand dollars on an outside vendor system was designed for customer service, as well as claims administration software.
Using proprietary software, I developed automated voice response system for Call Center, saving the company
the cost of 3-4 additional employees- the first automated system available to state employees. Upon
implementation, product reduced call volume coming into CSR lines by 10%
Developed interface for initial website employees could use to request and print Statewide Provider Directories the first time this was available to State employees. This reduced hard copy request by 8% thus saving company
printing and mailing costs
*Provider Relations Lead (Medicaid Fiscal Agent)(1994-1996)
Supervised 17 Provider Relations field representatives for Florida State Medicaid Management Information Systems.
Reps were responsible for training Medicaid providers on billing guidelines using various government approved claims
submission processes and forms along with resolving provider issues, which included software installation, education
and training. Extensive knowledge of Medicaid policy required.
Key Achievements:
Developed statewide approved training conferences and the material used to present to attendees all throughout
the State of Florida. Lead presenter.
Developed bi-weekly training sessions in every regional Medicaid office which allowed the state to eliminate biannual statewide training. This saved the company tens of thousands of dollars in travel, man hours, training
material, conference rooms, etc.
