Theteacherwillthenpresenttheslide.Afterstudentswatchbothvideosandtheslide,the
teacherwillthenhandoutthequizonthevideos.Thequizwillconsistofmultiplechoice
questions,true/falseandshortanswerquestions.Aftertakingthequiztheteacherwillthen
circlebacktothequestionthatwasaskedatthebeginningofclass.Theteacherwillthencall
onvolunteerstoexplainanyincidentofdiscriminationandaskthemtheseriesofquestions
fromthediscussionquestionspart1.Allowforinterestingdiscussiontohappenbetween

studentsbeforecallingonthesamestudentstoanswerquestionsfromthediscussion
questionspart2.
D.Closure:Theteacherwillthenclosethelessonbychallengingstudentstothinkabouthow
itfeltthetimetheywerediscriminatedagainst,inordertocombatdiscrimination.Although
themillionmanmarchtookplacedecadesago,discriminationstillexistsinallformsbesides
racism.Theteacherwillexplainthatitisuptothestudentsandfuturegenerationsbehavior
tomakeachangetostopdiscriminationaltogether.
E.Assessment.Studentswillbegradedontodayslessonbytheanswersfromthequiz.
Studentswillalsoreceiveapass/failfortheshortanswerquestionsaslongasthey
understandthemainthemesofthelesson.Themessuchasrespectfordiversityandequal
rights.Studentswillalsobegivenpointsforparticipationinthediscussion,evenifthe
studentdidnotspeak.Aslongasthestudentwaslisteningduringthediscussiontheywill
receivepointsforparticipation.
