To whom it may concern,

This letter is written in support of BONERABOSE IRAGUKUJIJE Peace whom I taught mathematics for two
years. In fact, Peace studied at Petit Sminaire Saint Vincent (P.S.S.V.) for four years before moving to
Institut de Formation Apostolique de Kimihurura (I.F.A.K.) where he graduated. As Im the only teacher
who teaches mathematics at both schools in Senior Five and Six, Ive known Peace at both schools since
he started A level in Senior Four.
I first met him when he was just beginning A level in his last (fourth) year at PSSV. At PSSV, he was
known as a pianist because he was one of the four official organists of the school and he was the
founder of Kunst der Musik, a group that performs classical music during the schools major events.
The year after, when I first taught him at IFAK, the school he subsequently moved to, I found that he was
a very well rounded person.
Firstly, he is hardworking, disciplined, and organized; he knows how to manage his time properly with
studies and extracurricular activities such as sports, music and reading which he appreciates very much.
Peace was the top student in math, physics, and chemistry for his class and he is also one of the best
students Id ever taught in my 20 years career because he really, really loved mathematics and he is the
only student to have presented me a piece of his research on the occurrence of prime numbers in series
made of natural numbers. His work, which I found very interesting, complex and promising, shows
creativity, academic motivation and determination. I have encouraged him to continue to research
whether in math or music or anything else and Im sure that he continued. Peace also actively
participated in classroom activities answering and asking questions and interacting with teachers and
students.
His other quality is that he never loses courage. He always was determined to improve in his studies and
make a difference by studying his courses to the minutest details. His self-confidence helped him in that.
Besides all this, Peace was also humble in his interactions with the other students at the school; he
helped them when they encountered with difficulties in their courses and he didnt fear to ask for
assistance when he needed some.
I attest that Peace is academically, emotionally, and intellectually prepared for university studies. Ive
seen him grow over the past three years to become a mature man. He now knows to give priority to
priorities thanks to his move to IFAK. While at PSSV it was music first, at IFAK it became study first but
then, there was no music because IFAK had no musical instruments. But for Peace it was an opportunity
to read a lot and show initiative by introducing his Kunst der Musik, the group he started when he was
still at PSSV, which finally convinced the Director to buy pianos and guitars. But then again, he didnt let
his music take over his studies.
My letter of recommendation is notably based on the fact that Peace has made continuous progress
over the years and as a result he is by far the best student of his class in the A level national
examination. His extracurricular pursuits have also made him one of the most rounded students Ive
ever known. I strongly recommend him for he is outstanding and he truly deserves the opportunity to
study in the United States.

Yours truly,
NGIRIRINGWE Faustin
