When hiring employees, companies must decide whether to hire full-time
permanent employees or bring on temporary help. So, whats the difference between the two? We define part-time employees as employees that are hired only for a contracted or limited period. On the other hand, full-time employees are the directly employed work for an employer and are paid directly by that employer. They often receive benefits such as health insurance, holidays, and paid vacations. Today, there is a sudden increase of part-time jobs even among our professionals. This is happening in spite of the fact that the Filipino labor force in general is globally recognized as technically proficient, highly educated, and almost always over-skilled. Yet, they are more dissatisfied and less committed to their jobs because only limited time is given upon showing their skills and abilities. Both the employers and employees are involved in regularization because employers need to consider its standards or commonplace in hiring and employees must have a successive fixed-term contract.
