montage
DESCRIPTION:
This is a religious flier done using basic level
InDesign and Photoshop techniques.

PROGRAMS:
Adobe Photoshop / Indesign
DATE:
May 27,2016
COURSE & SECTION: INSTRUCTOR:
Comm 130 - Section 07

Lindsey LeFevre

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

The message is that of Boyd K. Packer which
is simply saying who weed need to follow. I used
Photoshop to blend in the statue and the background.
I created masks to merge the photos better. I edited
the levels, contrast, and vibrancy.

Logos
DESCRIPTION:
This is a logo I made for a company named
Beeline.

PROGRAMS:
Adobe Illustrator / InDesign
DATE:
June 3, 2016
COURSE & SECTION: INSTRUCTOR:
Comm 130 - Section 07

Lindsey LeFevre

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

For this assignment, I went with three different
choices for my final logo. I then changed those
three, and ended up with three different ones. I then
scrapped that idea and went with something totally
different, but I felt as though it works better for
the overall message. I made a simple version of my
existing design, and placed it next to the logo name.

letterhead
DESCRIPTION:
This is a letterhead I made that goes with
matching business cards.

PROGRAMS:
Adobe Indesign
DATE:
June 10, 2016
COURSE & SECTION: INSTRUCTOR:
Comm 130 - Section 07

Lindsey LeFevre

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

I used InDesign and Illustrator to create the logo.
I thought letters look very professional, and have seen
various businesses use letters as their logos, and I
personally like the way it looks.

business card
DESCRIPTION:
This is a business card that goes with the
matching letterhead.

PROGRAMS:
Adobe Indesign
DATE:
June 10,2016
COURSE & SECTION: INSTRUCTOR:
Comm 130 - Section 07

Lindsey LeFevre

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

I used InDesign and Illustrator to create my logo,
and business card. I went the typography route, and
made everything word based instead of having an
intricate design. The message for the business card
is my openness for web design, and availability for
potential work.

brochure
DESCRIPTION:

A brochure made to showcase why and what one
should do if they travel to Los Angeles.

PROGRAMS:

COURSE & SECTION: INSTRUCTOR:

Comm 130 - Section 07

Lindsey LeFevre

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

I had to crop out a photo using Photoshop, make
an all new logo using Illustrator, and put everything
together using InDesign.

flier
DESCRIPTION:
A flier made for the Graduate Leadership
Conference.

PROGRAMS:
Adobe InDesign
DATE:

Lindsey LeFevre

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

I first created some sketches of my layout. Then I
used my sketch as a guide to create this layout in Adobe InDesign. I used diamonds for repetition and contrast. I also emphasized one word in my title for more
contrast. I cut the photo to create good flow.

event ad
DESCRIPTION:
This is an event ad for an auction event.
PROGRAMS:
Microsoft Word
DATE:

COURSE & SECTION: INSTRUCTOR:
Comm 130 - Section 07

Lindsey LeFevre

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

I had to make this flyer using only Microsoft
Word, and using photos I personally scanned in. I
used the shape tool to make the background, and
different shapes around the flyer. I also used the shape
tool to make the little house/key logo.

web page
DESCRIPTION:
This is a webpage created to highlight a logo I
made.

PROGRAMS:
Adobe InDesign / Basic text editor
DATE:
June 24, 2016
COURSE & SECTION: INSTRUCTOR:
Comm 130 - Section 07

Lindsey LeFevre

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

I made the logo using InDesign. Since I knew
a little about HTML and CSS before this project
creating the webpage was pretty simple. I took the
fonts from Google-Fonts and imported them for the
website.

imaging
DESCRIPTION:
This is a simple Event Flyer that I made for a
clothing outlet. I got my inspiration from Rexburgs
own clothing outlet.

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

I downloaded a photo I took of my friend Sydney.
I uploaded it to Photoshop, and immediately knew
what to do. I used the lead focus to create a flow and
direction for my flyer, from what I have personally
seen the simpler the design the better the outcome. I
edited the photos vibrancy, contrast, saturation, and
brightness.

wedding invitation
DESCRIPTION:
This the wedding invitation I made for my actual
wedding.

PROGRAMS:
Adobe Photoshop / InDesign

OBJECTIVES, AND PROCESS:

This project fell in the perfect time, I needed to
make my wedding invitations. I used Photoshop to
carve out the pineapple from the background. I then
used InDesign to create the text. I broke a sacred rule
and used three different fonts, because I could not
find a single Z that went well with the rest of the text.
So the first letter is different than the rest.
