Ms. Ma. Alicia S.

Bonoan
Regional Director
Reception and Study Center for Children, Quezon City
Greetings!
We are National Service Training Program Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTPCWTS) students of the University of the Philippines, Diliman, who wish to partner
with your institution for a project entitled Project Happiness.
About Project Happiness
Every child deserves a happy childhood. Project Happiness is envisioned to
cooperate with the Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) in Quezon
City in order to provide the children with three fun-filled days of activities and
companionship. For the longest time, the National Institute of Molecular Biology
and Biotechnology arm of the CWTS program has been doing open houses for
High School students. This year, we aim to reach out to the younger generation,
and we feel that this project will allow us to do so.
Objectives
This project aims to:
Uplift the lives of orphan children in nearby communities through fostering
camaraderie in a three-day program across three months.
Provide holistic development to the children, especially in terms of sports,
the sciences, and literature
Help cover the basic necessities of the children through donations in kind.
About the Benefactor
This project is led by 44 sophomore college students from the UP Diliman,
taking up Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. This is in
partial fulfillment of the requirements for the CWTS. As scholars of the Philippine
nation, it is our duty to give back to the Philippine community and we believe the
best way to do so is by giving back to the children, the future of our country.
