Technologyplaysagreatroleinourlife.Withtheadvancementintechnology,human
lifeismorecomfortableandmoreconvenient.Technologyaffectsourdailylivesandeducation.
Everyoneusesacomputerintheireverydaylifeformanydifferentreasons,especiallythe
students.Inuniversitycampus,youcouldfindthestudentwithdiverseelectronicproducts
everywhere.MostaretheAppleproducts,suchascomputer,iPod,iPhone,iPad,andiTouch.
Appleproductsaffectsourlifeandeducationmoreandmore.Iwillshowthattheimpactof
AppleProductsonourlifeandeducationthroughthisresearchproject.
Now,Appleisaveryfamiliarwordforus,notbecausethemeaningoffruit,but
electronicproducts.Appleisaprominenthardwareandsoftwarecompanybestknownforits
seriesofpersonalcomputers,theiPodanditsinnovativemarketingstrategiesforits
products.AppleComputerbecameAppleInc.in2007.Eachyear,AppleInc.launchnew
products.Theiphone4s,thenewipad,andtheiphone5thatjustreleasedinSeptember,2012all
causedpanicbuying.Mostpeopleareafraidtheyaregoingtomissoutonowningone.Moreand
morepeopleliketousetheappleproduct.ComputersMac,iphone,andipadcouldbefound
everywhere,Applehassoldmorethan55millioniPadssinceitslaunchin2010.Becausethe
iPadaccountsforover80percentofalltabletcomputersales,softwaredevelopersarecreating
appsatwarpspeedforthesenewdevices.Now,Appleplayaveryimportantroleinourlife.

AsmillionsofpeopleacrossthecountrylineuptopurchasetheiPhone5,onephoneis
notonlyapersonsproblem,butalsobecomeasocialproblems.BasedonpredictionsthatApple
wouldsell8millioniPhone5overopeningweekend.Doyouknowwhatthatmeanis?That
means$3.2billionboosttofourthquarterGDP,thatmeansitwouldraisetheannualized
fourthquartergrowthratebyathirdofapercentagepoint.JPMorgan'sMichaelFerolis
calculationswerestraightforward:Ifeachunitsellsforabout$600andcontainsabout$200in
importedparts,theneachindividualiPhone5saleaddsabout$400toGDP.

iPad.Appleproductsmakeourlivesmoreconvenientandtheirpositiveeffectsoneducationis
obvious.Butmanyattendantproblemscannotbeignoredeither,suchastheftsofiPhonecause
crimerateriseandsecurityandprivacyoniPhone.Everythinghastwofaces,the

developmentoftechnologyimproveourlives,butalsocausedmanytrouble.Nobodywanttosee
thenewsliketheftsofiPhonecausecrimeraterise.Everyonetogetherforabettertomorrow.
