A Shared Vision
ABSTRACT: Connie Baxter Marlow, author, filmmaker and futurist discovered
twenty years ago that she and Thoreau, the mystic, shared a vision of a
future in which the cosmology of the Native Americans would one day be
integrated into the prevailing paradigm. In this talk she will show how a
Mexican Catholic Bishop, Pope Francis and a significant Native American
scholar agree and envision a society transformed by the melding of the
indigenous worldview and the western perspective on the nature of the
Universe.
