By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. Identify the letters (alphabet) A-Z.
2. Listen to the teacher and pronounce the letters and the
sounds for alphabets A-Z correctly.
3. Listen to the Phonics song and watch the video.
4. Pupils sing with appropriate actions (Phonics song contains
letters and sounds)- pupils do and do the actions.
Activities:
1) Teacher introduces pupils letters and sounds for alphabet
A-Z.
2) Teacher demonstrates actions associated with the sounds
of the alphabets.
3) Pupils repeat after the teacher.
4) Teacher points to the alphabets and pupils say the letters
and sounds with actions.
5) Teacher introduces Phonics song with actions.
