Chose topics relevant to my students to teach during the 8-week period after
pre-testing each of them. I taught with a strong emphasis on reading, math

and writing. I had to create a curriculum that I would follow because there was
not a specific curriculum in place.
Progress monitored each of my students especially with their letters, sounds
and their ability to sound out and spell cvc words.
Led life skills activities; cooking, art, music, leisure and health education.
Taught with very limited resources and had to create tools and activities that
were useful to the needs of my individual students.
