Justifications
Most of our sales will be done in store but we want to also offer online shopping to give
product information and details to our customer from their home. We will want an easy to
use website so we will be investing in that before we open our store. We also want to
assemble a press kit with flyers and information to place in our shopping center. Emailing
and phone calls is a way to reach out to our grandparent Bundle shoppers, they enjoy
more personal interactions. Radio promotion will air three times a week on a middle aged
radio station in Grand Rapids which will cost us around 600 a month. We also will be
running a page magazine ad every month with promotions, sales, and brand images.
Website upkeep will be important to make sure our viewers are knowledgeable
about new products that we bring into our store. Internet promotion via Facebook is a free
tool that we think will work well to advertise to our Bundle moms and dads. They use
Facebook frequently, so we will incorporate user submitted photos, product reviews and
more. We will use a mailer three times a year during low sale months to counter those
sales. We want to reward customer loyalty and let our shoppers know their favorite
products are being reduced! The farmers market booth is going to be a great way to get
involved in the local community for us. Our shoppers love to shop local so if we meet
them at their favorite spot in Grand Rapids, we will be able to make face to face personal
connections with potential customers and current customers.

Employee Handbook
On the following page begins our example of what our employee handbook might look
like. It covers topics from pay, to vacations, to how many sick days are allowed. We
wanted to keep our employee handbook short so that our business has smaller
restrictions. We want our employees to be confident in decision-making and not be
restricted by guidelines.
