In Poasia Health Centre Kendari nutritional status of children under five years in 2011 as follows: malnutrition 7 children (1.03%), malnutrition least 138 children (20.2%), and good nutrition as much as 537 children (78.7%). And in 2012 the state of the nutritional status of children under five years as much as 41.1% and the nutritional status of children normal as much as 58.9%. while the period from January to March 2013 the number of children under five years who weighed as much as 195 children. The research objective was to determine the description of the factors relating to the status of malnutrition among children under five in the Working Area Health Center Poasia Kendari in 2013. This research is quantitative research (Notoatmodjo, S, 2007) by using a cross-sectional approach. The samples in this study were mostly mothers with children under five in the region of the city Poasia kendari clinic as many as 36. Method In Purposive Sampling. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: based on the results of the Chi Square test showed that there is a relationship between infectious diseases and nutritional status of children under five (Fisher Exact Test value = 0.008), there is a relationship between family income and nutritional status of children under five years (Value Fisher Exact Test = 0.04), there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and nutritional status of children under five (Value = 0.04 Fisher's Exact Test). It is recommended that health center staff to intensify health education or the provision of information on the health of mothers with children under five years. Key Words Bibliography
