March 2016

Analyzer Update

1 In this version
This release contains support for new and updated file formats. There are updates for most
technologies that Actix supports, with changes falling under the following categories:

New collection of devices and improvements:

Added support for Nemo FF version 2.26.

Added support for Accuver XCAL-M version 3.3.4.121.

Added support for Rohde and Schwarz version 4.88.

Improved support for Hisilicon chipset.

Added support for Accuver CALa (Call on Android) LTE UE device.

Added support for Samsung devices such as SAMSUNG S5 G9008V, SAMSUNG S5


G9009W, and SAMSUNG S6 G9200 for the Ding Li file format.

Added support for Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) and Video over Wi-Fi (ViWiFi) in the decode
layer.

Added support for Video over LTE (ViLTE) in decode layer.

Added support for VoWiFi/ViWiFi handover event detection to and from VoLTE/ViLTE.

Added support VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) call events detection.

Application Layer improvements:

Added support for 3-Carrier Aggregation in LTE Cluster Acceptance Report and Spotlight.
Platform improvements:

Added support for Microsoft Office 2016.

Fixed a number of Map issues.

Limitations and Known Issues:

Use of TAB files with non-standard projection systems in the Map will disable the Bing
background map.

2 New collection device or technology support


2.1 Accuver support

Added support for XCAL-M 3.3.4.121.

Added support for CALa (Call on Android) LTE UE device.

Resolved an issue of showing a different stream label for the log file generated from the
same logging tool and device.

2.2 Ascom TEMS support

Fixed the issue of Layer 3 message names not being decoded in the TEMS_Event attribute.

Corrected a problem of not showing Latitude/Longitude for indoor-collected GPS data.

2.3 Ding Li support

Added support for the following Samsung devices:

SAMSUNG S5 G9008V

SAMSUNG S5 G9009W

SAMSUNG S6 G9200

2.4 Huawei Probe support

Added support for decoding DT_CMD_ID_LRRC_SERVING_CELL_INFO_CA_IND and


DT_CMD_ID_LRRC_SERVING_CELL_INFO_CA_IND and setting serving cell attributes, and
application, PDCP, RLC and MAC throughputs.

2.5 Nemo support

Added support for Nemo FF version 2.26.

Resolved a problem of not decoding and setting CDMA related attributes for certain files.

Corrected an issue of pegging double Nemo call events in log files where party A and party
B events are recorded.

2.6 Qualcomm support

Added support for decoding the following messages:

Corrected an issue of incorrect PDCP Throughput values that were higher than Layer 1

Fixed an issue of setting invalid values for LTE_UE_RB_Num_DL_for_Carrier_1.
Added support for decoding message UMTS SS RRCNetwork Info and set UARFCN, MCC,
MNC attributes.
Resolved an issue to decode IBflex Scanner files and set the relevant attributes.

Generic
Added support for Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) and Video over Wi-Fi (ViWiFi) in the decode
layer.

Added support for VoWiFi/ViWiFi to VoLTE/ViLTE handover and vice versa.

Added support VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) call events detection.

Corrected the wrong mapping of CELL_RESELECT_OFFSET.

3.1 Report

Added support for 3-Carrier Aggregation in the LTE cluster acceptance report.

3.2 Spotlight

Added support for 3-Carrier Aggregation.

4 Platform improvements
4.1 Map

Fixed an issue causing a crash when printing on Windows 8.1.


Fixed an issue of the Mapinfo TAB file projection system resetting other layers projection
system.
Fixed an issue of Analyzer crashing when the user clicked on print preview after adding a
TAB file and cellrefs to the Map.

4.2 Network Explorer

Fixed an issue causing Analyzer to crash upon auto-importing a cellref file.

4.3 Reporting/Workbook

Added support for Microsoft Office 2016.
