DAY 01: SJO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SAN JOSE
On arrival at the Juan Santamara International Airport (SJO), one of our representatives will
meet and greet you and provide you with all the needed documentation for your vacation,
such as vouchers, day by day itinerary, main contacts information and phone numbers. Then,
you will be transferred to San Jose area where you will be staying at Grano de Oro hotel.
Considered an oasis right in the heart of the city, Hotel Grano de Oro still retains its Victorian
style tropical, with Spanish tile fountains, small pieces of Costa Rican art, beautiful gardens
with tropical flowers, and best of all, his warmth in the service, which will make you feel, the
Costa Rican famous hospitality since your arrival.

DAY 02: SAN JOSE BAJOS DEL TORO
Today after breakfast we will continue to the area of the Bajos Del Toro Cloud Forest, a misty
valley located in the Central Mountain Range, in one of the most biologically diverse areas of
the country at approximately 4,500 feet above sea level between the Poas Volcano and Juan
Castro Blanco National Park. The cloud forest weather is perfect to read a book or enjoy of a
fresh brewed cup of coffee after having a delicious homemade Costa Rican food served in the
dining room. El Silencio Lodge & Spa is an eco-luxury hotel that showcases the best of Costa
Ricas tropical cloud forest. Silencio (Spanish for silence), befits a destination where daily
stress is hushed by natures melodic symphonies. This upscale Costa Rican hotel features

DAY 03: BAJOS DEL TORO
The sound of the birds from the cloud forest, the fresh air, the view of the mountains and the
crystal water stream running along the property will wake you up this morning. This day will
be full of discoveries and learning experiences, while you explore on your own the cloud
forest. There you can admire the wonders of nature, outstanding birds and wildlife. The
different trails winding through this tropical cloud forest will reveal your innumerable species
of plants, flowers and exotic birds.

DAY 04: BAJOS DEL TORO ARENAL VOLCANO
After breakfast, you will continue your journey on a two-hour transportation to the Arenal
Volcano. This volcano, active since 1969, one of Costa Ricas main highlights. Here, stay for
two nights at Arenal Nayara hotel. Through the afternoon, you will visit the world famous
Tabacn Hot Springs. These natural hot springs features a hot river that flows through a
series of pools. From cascading falls to tropical gardens, the hot springs are the result of
rainwater heated by magma in the Earths interior. Once heated, the waters rise to surface,
taking with them minerals found in the earths rocky crust; this way, waters become very
benefic to your body because of its temperature that helps to relax muscles, clean pores and
rejuvenate the skin. Tabacn is a very unique location full of natural jewels that definitely you
cannot lose staying at Arenal area. At the end of the tour you will enjoy dinner at the resort
before go to rest at your hotel.

DAY 05: ARENAL VOLCANO
This morning and after breakfast you will visit Arenal Hanging Bridges, located only 10
minutes away from town, these Hanging Bridges are located in a 618-acre reserve of primary
forest, and are the perfect example of what is ecotourism. Nature lovers all around the world

come visit this unique attraction. It has a 3 km trail through the rainforest that allows you to
take in natures beauty at its most pristine state. With 15 bridges from 5 to 100 meters long,
one of them located at a height of 45 meters, you will get a 360 view of the tropical rainforest,
and if the weather is on your side, you will see the most amazing views of Arenal volcano. All
the hanging bridges are made of aluminum, galvanized steel and concrete, following the
strictest safety margins in the world to ensure visitors safety. Likewise, the trail is built using
paving blocks to prevent slipping. To make sure visitors are always safe, a naturalist will guide
you throughout your hike informing you about the surrounding wildlife and flora.

DAY 06: ARENAL VOLCANO PUNTA ISLITA
For today it is programmed the transportation to the northern Pacific Coast, specifically to
Nicoya Peninsula where Punta Islita hotel is located. The first part of the transfer is adorned
with the beautiful scenery of the Arenal Lake. Then, you will admire the incomparable beauty
of the landscapes, which includes the tropical dry forest and its hot climate. Once in the coast
you will stay three nights at Punta Islita hotel, where you will enjoy not only the stunning views
but also the beautiful beaches with generous trees that rise up from the beaches and gives
shade to sunbathers. For all of this it easy to understand why Guanacaste is the perfect
destination to enjoy nature and relaxation!

DAYS 07 & 08: PUNTA ISLITA
These days are at leisure to explore on your own to explore the facilities of your hotel and
enjoy the sun, sing of sea birds and the ocean breeze of this beautiful coast that will make
you relax with the peaceful environment that surrounds the area, been the ideal place to take
some pictures, swim in the pool, read a book or take a nap hearing the sounds of the ocean.

DAY 09: PUNTA ISLITA SAN JOSE
After enjoy in Costarican Pacific Coast, you will take your transportation that will drive you
back to San Jose, crossing the mountains that surround the Central Valley, becoming the
temperature varies considerably, conditions that you will experience previous arrive to your
San Jose hotel, where you will lodge your last night in Costa Rica.

Costa Ricas climate is marked by two distinct seasons: dry
season (Dec.-April) and the wet season (May-Nov.). The
average daily temperatures range between 70 and 80
degrees.

It is home to vast array of plants and trees, every species


highly adapted to the ecosystems within which they reside.
The foliage is accented by brightly coloured flowers and lush
green trees.
Costa Rica boasts a profusion of zoological riches, and
rightfully so. The National Institute of Biodiversity, in an
attempt to identify every plant, animal and insect species,
has approximated that within the borders of this small
isthmus at least one million species exist.
