LINCOLN MEMORIAL A WRITE UP

Lincoln Memorial was made in 1911 as a tribute to the extraordinary services given
to the people of the United States of America by their 16th President, Abraham
Lincoln. This national monument standing 30 meters above the ground is built in a
Greek temple style with 36 massive Doric columns. Inside the temple is a huge
statue of the president sitting on a chair and appearing to watching over his country
silently. The museum also lightens to life at night. The northern wall of this
monument depicts an inscription of the great presidents second inaugural speech
while the southern part walls exhibit inscription of yet another important speech in
the American history- the Gettysburg address. Climbing on the entry stairs, one
could have a spectacular view of Washington Monument and the US Capitol.

WASHINGTON MEMORIAL A WRITE UP

destination within the state of Washington DC. It is a one of its kind museum thats
