Suppliers
According to Section 21 OSHA 1994, the
duties of designers, manufacturers and
suppliers are to:
(a) Ensure substance is safe and without risks to
health when properly used;
(b) Carry out or arrange for the carrying out of such
testing and examination as
may be necessary for the performance of the duty
imposed on him by (a);
and

(RM 50,000) or to imprisonment for the term not


exceeding two years or both

(c) Provide adequate information.

property, environment or any combination of these
caused by the event.
Identification of Hazards

Hazard: A source or a situation with a potential for


harm in terms of human injury or ill health, damage

Hazard identification: The identification of undesired


source or situation that leads to the materialization
of the hazard and the mechanism by which those
undesired source or situation could occur.
