NIGHTFALL ENCHANTER GUIDE

"Some humans have the capability to extend their imagination and paranormal
capabilities, but when it joins the glory of faith and devotion those are able to
exterminate Vampires and Ousters ahead compared to the other humans inside the E.V.E
headquarters. Granters are found in support to their companies or in a remote solitary
meditation most of the time. Wowing the powers of group mates, dispelling enemy mass
spells and even tricking their opponents with cheap illusionary magic.
Even though it seems simple with dedication, perseverance a Granter can also be trained
as a furious and indomitable Arcane Templar."

Introduction
Before proceeding on the guide I would like to make a brief introduction about
this class, as I believe many others different from me yet "believe" it is very
difficult to control an Enchanter especially in PvP. The truth is that with training
you can become a challenging opponent, moreover if you want to evolve more in
"wealth" I suggest you master this class very well. Like I said wealth, but also
fame and respect are characteristics of this class, although some players
understand that Granters are somewhat appealing.
PADRE was my first character here. It is the owner of ACTIVATION on Slayers
and confess that I am a very happy. All I have produced are fruits of my game
play and perseverance. Worth knowing, play and master a Granter if you want to
choose the race of Slayers as their primary or even unique choice.
Finally you will depend on a lot of money and especially the buffs if you want to
have more than one character to play in window mode, being a challenge and
tough player in PvP.

Testing Methodology
During my tests and in parallel with the server I realized that many things are
relative, but mostly I observed that buffs work as an improvement, ie, the more
you have the more you will receive.
When testing I try to be much accurate as possible, but judge by yourself and

soak up what you find useful and convenient, although I would not lie or hide
informations.
I use my off line server and normal characters without GM privileges.

INTELLIGENCE Build "The Sage Warlock"


This build can say it is a "standard" and an excellent choice for those just
starting. It is very effective due to the high INT. Once level 150 and a Job
Changed slayer add everything in INT. Set goals in your head like 500, 600, 700,
800 and finally 900 INT.

Advantages
-High amount of MP. The average standard would be around 2000.
-Self regeneration of MP due to passive skill Meditation. The more INT the
Granter has the more that will be regenerated.
-High duration of Intimate Grail on the companions.
-Very high magical damage. Compared to the physical damage of a pure strength
Splitter.
-The higher is the INT the greater the bonus applied to STR and DEX (when Bless
is imposed on someone) are. This is also valid for Striking.
-Can inflict HPs as well MPs with any of his spells.
-Inflicts a good amount of silver to the opponents.
-Can make monsters sleep.
-Can see into the Darkness (the smoke that hides the Vampire's movement).
-Can clean Darkness also.
-Reflects physical damage back to the aggressor.
-Can hold and maintain distance from adjacent contacts when he pleases.
-Vampires can blind temporarily, as well Ousters, Gore Gland (Vampire's
summon) and any normal monster (even Lychee's).
-Nullifies or sometimes prevent the activity of Darkness, Acid Swamps, Blood
Walls, Poisons, Hellfire, Prominence and other ground area skills thanks to the AD
20 skill.
-The skill AD 1 (Rotten Apple) annihilate hordes of monsters with just one click.
-No need to play with high latency (ping) to perform good PK's.
-Can acquire high fame points (this improves drop considerably).
-The ultimate magical build to exterminate Combat Ousters and Vampires
(generic talking).
-Can avoid a lot of damage (when played correctly).

-Can train and level up easier.


-They are natural leaders in a party of Slayers.
-The Combat Ousters are very easy to beat.
Disadvantages
-Low Protection points. This means that if you are caught distracted and even
without MP you will be subjected to suffer a PK in seconds against physical
threats.
-Needs a lot of All Resistance, Curse Resistance, Poison Resistance and even
Blood Resistance points to be able to play comfortable.
-Loses 200 points of HP when conjuring Holy Armor.
-Ousters in groups are very challenging, but most Ousters with INT above 600
points can be trouble even in a duel. Depends largely on the situation, but I
confess that duels are always frustrating.
-Even with high resistances you may be subject to Death and Paralyze most of
the time.

STRENGTH Build "The Arcane Templar"


I developed this build, but obviously it existed and was experimented by players
on other servers. It is a very interesting one, but very difficult to develop. In the
end I believe is very efficient, but not the best. Once level 150 and a Job
Changed slayer you should add between 150~200 bonus points in INT, but
exactly after Horus 50 you should add the remaining points all in STR. My
suggestions are 270/180 and 150/300.

Advantages
-Excellent to exterminate any Warrior Vampire in a duel.
-Good amount of HP. The average standard would be around 2000 after level
200 (AD 50).
-Thanks to Bless and Intimate Grail this build grants to the Granter (> AD 50) the
range of 700 points of Protection. What I find something precious against Set
Afire, Crag hits, Chief Beriths.
-In my opinion is the best build to go Perona NE with your party, friends and even
surprising all Warriors Vampires anywhere. (Best build since Splitters based on
strength end missing a lot because of the low ToHit).
-Moderate magical damage, but effective at higher levels. Compared to the
physical damage of a dexterity Splitter based.
-Can inflict HPs as well MPs with any of his spells.

-Inflicts a moderate amount of silver to the opponents.


-Slight improved delay of Intimate Grail skill against opponents.
-Can make monsters sleep.
-Can see into the Darkness (the smoke that hides the Vampire's movement).
-Can clean Darkness also.
-Reflects physical damage back to the aggressor.
-Can hold and maintain distance from adjacent contacts when he pleases.
-Vampires can blind temporarily, as well Ousters, Gore Gland (Vampire's

Disadvantages
-The set is expensive. You certainly would not invest in this build if you are
starter. This is logical.
-Very hard to level up. To compare to a Defender or a strength based Bishop. Due
to the low magic damage until level 210~220.
-Do not even think about going to PvP before level 240.
-Vulnerable against magic damage, highly dependent on HPs.
-Aura Shield during PvM is useless until level 240 (AD 90) I would say.
-INT caster Vampires disrupt too much if they catch you in flocks or distracted
with their Summon Gore Gland magics.
-You can not duel any Ouster before level 240 (AD Class 90) except Warriors
vampires and some INT caster Vampires.

Stereotype
For each INT point added the Granter receives 2 MP points. For each STR point
added the Granter receives 2.5 HP points.
The big secret is that Bless according to INT will further enhances your STR
limits, because as I mentioned the build of the Templars is safe reliable.

How a Granter regenerates the Mana


Points?
Some players do not know, others end up ignoring, but there is math behind the
regenerative capacity of a Granter.
I'll try to explain here, but first this is just a game passive skill that (Slayer)
Bishops and Granters learn very early. Granters a part can learn to meditate at
level 55.

Commonly speaking Meditation works only when Granters are wielding a Mace
on hands, so the more INT points the Granter has, then the more MP he will
regenerate. What makes the "Sage Warlock" build extremely appealing and
strong in the latest levels due to the high INT.
By every 4 seconds Meditation works as follows.

Attention!!
On top of that there is still something very important. The MP through items and
especially the buff Intimate Grail will drastically improve Meditation regeneration
amount.
Basically I noticed when testing that for every 600 MP extra points Meditation
increases at 300 (Intimate Grail)! This information is not accurate, but it is
perhaps the best reference so far and I really consider it valid and important, so
to another example. 100 extra MP will also increase the regeneration. Grossly
talking the 100 receives a % and this turns into regeneration. It's more or less
31, but its a %, so do not ignore it.

The Granter Buffs


They are many. Try to get used slowly. Keep Bless and Striking always active.
At first it is very difficult and requires a lot of the player attention. A good
Granter snorts others and even other Granters of lower levels, but the basic is to
keep everyone under the effect of Intimate Grail and Holy Armor.
The Granter buffs do not have a static value, but they have a functioning
percentage based on INT and especially to those who are receiving it.
One little thing that I observe is that most Granters forget to Detect Invisibility.
So here is my tip to always activate it.

Bless is a buff which dramatically increases the


damage of some skills from other classes, moreover most of the Slayers classes
over 600 points will feel a huge difference! In the case of a Healer with
600~650 INT points to receive the bless it will cause much more damage than
natural, and it is amazing! It also increases STR and DEX points of the Granter
and involved Slayers by the blessing powers.

this buff enchants a weapon in hand. Even if the


Granter remove gun time effect will continue running. It increases damage, but
again I repeat that this value is very relative to who the Granter is blessing.
The time duration it is exactly the same as Bless. So it is usually applied shortly
after.
As you just read about Bless then here is the acronym used. Whenever someone
typing BS that means bless and striking.
Note: An important detail to Striking dramatically increases the magic damage of all
offensive Granter spells.

the chalice is a high-level magic, it requires level 140


and is in my opinion one of the most important skills of the Granter.
I'll be detailing it later on when in the offensive magics session, but for now I will
focus the talk of benefits when applied only to members of the same race, the
Slayers.
It increases HP, MP, Defense and Protection values.

this magic is very important. It dramatically increases


the Granter points of defense and it affects the components of the whole party.
The duration of Holy Armor is affected only by the level of the skill. What can be
acquired early when playing a Granter, however high INT points will increases
the bonus of evasion when applied. Has 1 minute and 20 seconds of duration

independent of INT.
Let's see the behavior of buffs over a Granter of AD Class 100 (on himself). I
want to make clear that the INT was tested according to the image below.

basically Aura Shield works like a magic shield. All


damage that you receive is doable to your MP points. Suppose that the damage
is 200, if you receive it on your Shield it will be 400 instead. Has 42 seconds of
duration independent of INT.

this skill returns to the aggressor 100% of his


damage, but it only works against closed physical attacks within the game.
The main ones are: the Combat Ousters Halo, the Vampires Violent Phantom and
again Ousters Destruction Spear.
For this reason many Ouster players complain about Requital. Has 42 seconds of
duration independent of INT.
Note: the return of damage works independently of the Granter protection points.

INT. This high level magic allows humans to detect the movements of anything
inside and outside of Darkness. Most of the time you will be able to apply the
Lightness by at most twice, so think carefully on who you will set Lightness on.

Granter and warrants to all party members detect any


invisible thing. It has 1 minute of duration.
Note: There are still 2 more buffs: Detect Hidden and Light, but the first is bugged, so it
can only be conjured once per character login and the second remaining buff is

insignificant, but if you prefer to earn a little bonus to your vision sight. The tip is to use
Light.
By the way you can apply Lightness on the top of Light.

Pay attention and understand how the Buffs behave. As you can see they work
and act as improvements in the attributes of other classes.
In the example below I applied the buffs on a Splitter and tried the different
intelligence caps evolving.

The Granter Defensive Magics


This is one of the reasons which I have a special fondness for playing with this
class. They have great support spells and all I can say is that it's up to the player
to become a powerful aggressor or just a spell-caster in the background or a mix
of both.

this spell makes visible a Vampire if it is invisible. The


skill at level 100 has a good range, however the spell is unpopular due to
usability since most often a Granter will be always in party groups and most
players prefer to apply Detect Invisibility instead.

some vampires will hide under the Spirit Guard if it


happens you can only force them to come out of the hole in the ground using this
spell. It tends to fail, but the second or third attempt the Vampire will come out
of the soil. Again is a kind of skill not very popular as most Vampires stay little
long hidden beneath the ground.

this spell works like a little magic carpet. The Granter


can cast up to 9 Mercy Grounds. At the 10th one will be erased.The mats protect
Slayers and anything from Darkness, Fire Ousters Prominence and Vampires Acid
Swamps.

this magic often blind Ousters , Vampires and


monsters of normal category (not bosses). With 520 points of INT the duration
around 24 seconds. Vampires regain visibility after the elapsed time and suffer a
small penalty in the normal radius field of vision, but on the other hand Ouster
unfortunately end up losing and damaging their vision completely. Flare usually
lands at the third attempt, but sometimes at the seventh.

is a magic of invocation. The Granter can capture and


arrest anything within its vicinity. The duration is around 8~9 seconds. This is a
very important spell because high level Warrior Vampires have an outstanding
knock-back effect and the ideal is to invoke a new sanctuary every time.

Rebuke allows to sleeping monsters in the adjacency


of the Granter. It is a skill often used in the initial stages and during the training
phase, always in association with Rotten Apple. It lasts around 10 seconds,
causes a low damage.
With it you can fall asleep to most monsters in the entire game.
Note: for each Rebuke you will have time to cast 6 Aura Rings.

when a Granter applies Lightness on another Slayer


the best way to support through Darkeden is by using the Continual Light. I
highly suggest it!
This light is very effective against the Darkness of Vampires with low intelligence,
as the Warriors Vampires for example.

this magic has two uses. One is damage and I'll be


testing this in the next session. The other use is to nullify the spells of Ousters
and Vampires (some) and prevent too. The player needs a lot of patience to level
up Heaven Ground to 100. It consumes a skill card (item purchased at Perona
SW NPC).
Nullifies and Protect the Granter from the incoming magics: Prominence
(Fire Ouster), Hellfire (Fire Ouster), Blood Wall (Vampire) and Acid Swamp
(Vampire).
Note: do not cast it when preparing a Rotten Apple monster or you will awaken all
surrounding monsters! If you are leveling with Rebuke.

The Granter Offensive Magics


I'll split this session into two parts. The first aim is to show what each skill, but
getting ahead in the second I'll be testing the damage, moreover it is clear
already that the tests are conducted under the effect of Bless and Striking. As I
mentioned the Striking increases magic damage.

Utility: great in combination with Slayers Centaur Pet, whenever a Vampire is


knocking-back the Granter the Aura Ball will be released faster. In duels it is the
best choice. Use Aura Ball to make Apple.
HPs & MPs: Yes!

Utility: due to the improved range in comparison with Aura Aura Ball this magic
can be more effective against INT Caster Vampires. However I would not suggest
using the Aura Ring against Water Ousters, because the Centaur will immediately
lock-shotting against Ouster Frozen Armor and that have a negative effect on
Granter speed of movement.
Use Aura Ring to make Apple as well.
HPs & MPs: Yes!

Utility: is an excellent spell to attack in combination with the Aura Ring. I


suggest you aim it at the Granter feet if you receive many Vampire knock-backs.
The Aura Storm causes a very good HPs and MPs as well. It serves to destroy
most monsters due to the delay and ease of offense most of the time. It inflicts
damage from sky, so the opponent has a change to avoid half of the area
damage caused.

Utility: this magic is very strong. If you hold the mouse button before releasing
it note that you can enlarge the circumference causing the Sweep Vice to indeed
sweep with a wide reach. The damage will not be reduced in this case and when
in PvM this skill in conjunction with Aura Storm does a lot of damage and doubles
the chances of the Granter to survive even under Death influence (if the Granter
has HPs items).

Utility: intimidates opponents because damage over time. it is always welcome


to cause exhaustion in the blood of Vampires or Ousters who usually tend to run
away when they feel threatened. The chances of a success hit increases as the
Granter INT is higher.
At low levels Divine Guidance it is always welcome to exhaust a monster life bar

together with Aura Ring and then you can cast Rotten Apple to eliminate the
surrounding monsters in a single click.
HPs & MPs: Yes!
Note: Is the best skill to raise the basic INT points of the Granter, as well other Slayer
classes domain basic points.

Utility: works as HPs and damage rings. The damage is very high, almost under
the effect of Striking anything caught in the Sanctuary shall be subject to the PK
in seconds. It has 1 minute of duration.
HPs & MPs: Yes!

Utility: halves Ouster and Vampires HP and Defense amounts. It increases the
chances of Flare magic success too. At the end of the duration it causes
moderate damage too.
HPs & MPs: No!

Utility: anything that goes on in area will suffer damage as if it were walking or

standing in a quicksand illusion. The time duration depends on the skill level and
the damage is static. It basically weakens only anything in there.

Utility: annihilates anything nearby and in adjacency to the monster that is with
very low blood. The Granter basically "pairs" the life bars of all living beings
around the Rotten Apple. This spell doesn't evolute and is highly recommended
to use it together with Rebuke and Aura Ring until the Granter becomes strong
enough to survive and play with the remaining offensive magics. It also works in
PvP.
HPs & MPs: Yes!
Note: The use of Rotten Apple in any Vampire or Ouster within Peronas safe zone is a
highly risky. So I recommend you read the Nightfall Gameplay rules before committing
such act or you may lose your account in a wrong way instead. viewtopic.php?

The following image shows a series of tests conducted against:


* A Female Vampire with complete set. Total attributes are 520/590/520.
* The Granter was under the influence of Bless and Striking, Holy Smashing
grade skill and a Salience Asser g4 mace without silver coating. The damage
does not suffer changes during night or day.
Note: for each magic an S (on the side) is the amount of silver applied. The damage of

Aura Storm may vary!

Belt and Hotkey Setup


This is my "standard".

It is clear that the Mana and Health Bottles are the best choice, and even the
famous Honey and Mugwort Rice Cakes will make the Granter tough and cheap!

I think the biggest difficulty that most beginner players have is to organize,
memorize and finally mastering with perfection all Granter magics on the
keyboard keys.
I highly suggest you use the scroll wheel on your mouse to perform some
movements to any class in the game, because the button is extremely useful,
but in especial to the Granter. CTRL + S shortcut serves you to view the
complete panel of skills, so you can create a more suitable scrolling to your taste
this way.
F9: Aura Storm, Sweep Vice, Spirit Guard, Divine Guidance
F10: Bless, Striking, Holy Armor, Intimate Grail
F11: Aura Shield, Requital, Lightness, Mercy Ground
F12: Sanctuary, Aura Ring, Rebuke, Rotten Apple

INTELLIGENCE based Granter

STRENGTH based Granter

+5 INT.

+5% of Defense. Nightfall Granters standard evasion points are


580~590 Defense with Bless, Intimate Grail, Holy Armor activated, an Info Scrap
and a Toad Back item equipped too (AD Class 1 items), but with the rank
achieved the average Granter evasion rate goes beyond 620. A Granter with
intelligence above 800 would reach the home of 640 defense points.

The Granter Items


As you can see the guide introduced two types of build, even so the items are
the same for both.
Secondly let's consider Nightfall upgraded soups and pets now. This means that
many of the items can be enchanted facilitating best INT achievements.
Initially there are 80/80/315 allocated basic attributes, but at AD Class 100 a
Granter has 450 bonus points. We will then add +5 INT from Stone of Sage
grade skill.

To get a Zap you buy from a player who has it or simple participate the Icy Lair
that unite members of each race. It's the hardest game event. Anyway, let's take
that as +20 (if you manage to get they four). Now we have 790. And let's also
add the INT pet, which at level of 50 gives +31.
The torg/][ipostimgmg]httpotal is 821 points INT and now we need to think
about the items and to keep a good balance sheet for all the game situations.
Granters may hit hard and be tricky, but they are as well subject to curses and a
lot of tough physical impacts.
This is my set of items I already spent around 220 sapphires on #PADRE. I still
have to improve it a lot.

As you can see I have HPs and I recommend it for even a beginner set. Around
8~12 points its fine and I guarantee you won't want to remove that out.
In short you will be able to assemble a good set with 50 sapphires, but only with
100 you will achieve the cap of 170 points of Curse Resistance, HPs of maybe
6~9 points, the Poison Resistance which can be 15~30 and especially All
Resistance to free the Granter Aura Shield Vampires Gore Gland summons

The Asylion Adam Keeper


Will not be long before you realize (if you still do not know) that the race of
Slayers by default has no Curse Resistance loot on parts such as boots, belt,
pants, armor, gloves and helmet. This is one of the advantages of Granters. The
ability to Rebuke the Asylion Adam Keeper and slowly kill him as he will
summons (with skill Rotten Apple).

Adam Keeper and step by step how to beat the foe, but obviously there are many
things to see and you'd better follow all that in the video. The video is in the

The Granter Pets


Taking into account the build of Arcane Templar I recommend the STR Centaur

For a Sage Warlock you should always go with a Centaur of INT.

In the alternative of going to Asylion b2 you should train a Defense Pet. An


inexpensive choice is to get it with a dog.

If you read the behavior of the active Holy Armor and Intimate Grail on the
Granter himself you will see that the class reaches nearly 700 points of evasion
and thus circumvented using 6~10 points of HPs you will not have trouble
climbing levels even without Rotten Apple in Asylion 2.

Questions and Answers

Why play as Granter?


A reason to play with this class is briefly summarized in my personal conclusion
at the end of the guide, but what else I can say a little more? I recommend
playing with this class for many reasons. Magic damage is an incredible value in
this version of Darkeden, the spells of a Granter are unique within the game to
repel Vampire and Ouster threats.
Basically if you are a good player and you want to invest your time or money
there is no other class for this (among Slayers).
You can go up levels quickly, get money, be effective in PvP and especially "feed"
other classes that you create.
Once you create your basic set of items you can share your stuff with a
secondary character and enjoy out from the traditional boundaries of the game.
At parties you can apply improvements and see your teammates dominating the
battlefield.

Leveling Guide
I will consider that you have nothing. So I will quote the same steps I trod on my
start there eight months ago.
Until level 90
- Get out of the complex block on Eslaniam NW to kill some zombies to learn the
spell called Light Ball.
- Open your map (CTRL + M) find the Clerics Guild and head to it.
- Once inside the building look for an NPC called 'Thing'. Ask him to 'Set
Evacuation Point'.
- Proceed to the elevator to access the 'basement 1'. Now look for a hole in the
wall to a dungeon called 'WaterWay'.
- Once in the sewer you have a safe zone to stand and from there your train
begins.
- Un-equip your beginners Mace and start casting Light Ball on the monsters that
are near the safe zone.
- Pay attention to the system messages 'You can Learn a New Skill'. Go back to
the building and find the elevator.
- Proceed to the floor 3 where you learn new spells for your class. The NPC name
is 'Hannibal'. Just ask him 'to teach me a new blessing spell'.
From level 90 up to 140
- If you have learned all the spells you only have to level up them all to 100. Most
of them are blessings. We focus on Holy Armor for now.
- By now you can also have a small money quantity to afford MP and HP ampuls,
as well a bike and the helicopters radio.
- Leave the Cleric Guild building and press CTRL + M. Find a NPC called 'Jack'.
There you find what I mentioned. Buy the bike key and the radio. The MP and HP
ampuls you can buy from 'Thing' remember it.
- Wear a shield and remove your mace now. Wait for the the days turn and we
are heading to Eslanian NE fields.
- You should (under Holy Armor and Bless influence thus a Shield equipped) reach
400 defense points and above.
- Ride with your bike to any of the Eslanian NE dungeon entrances and there you

will attempt to level up. We are taking down all monsters without a hurry. Always
turning on the buffs like Requital, Bless, Holy Armor and hitting the monsters
around with Aura Storm whenever you can.
- Once at level 95 it is time to learn a new spell called 'Rebuke'. It will put the
monsters to sleep and the experience is also very incredible.
- The next spells to learn that way are: 'Spirit Guard', 'Divine Guidance',
'Lightness', 'Sweep Vice' and finally the 'Intimate Grail'.
- The night turns will be very hard anywhere until or even with Intimate Grail
(depending the items you have).
- Try to buy or find War Armors. They will be useful most of the time and
remember that if you can't afford a good mace to level up (calix, bulawa or gruz)
you have to use the shield method to boost your evasion points. You are really
going to sacrifice the HP points from the domain weapon, but you shall earn
much more experience points instead of using a bad mace. Alternatively you can
wear a calix mace if you dislike my idea.
From level 150 to 200
- Assuming you completed the quest. You only have to Rebuke and Apple
WaterWay map monsters. Its up to you change to Perona SW or keep in Clerics
B1 (the resurrection point).
- I know it will be frustrating meet a high level Vampire or a Ouster. You will be
PKed in seconds, but this is part of the process.
- Pick up weapons. I made a really nice guide about 'JC able items' and basically
the items you see in the guide are the same that will worth money for you, so
selling it will make your fortune quickly enough.
- I also made a guide about 'Couples' you should read that for further reference
on how to marry a level 100 slayer to a Granter then. Won't be that hard.
- Remember that playing in window mode will be much easier if you are planning
to use a couple to sell the items back in Perona SW.
- Its also a good idea to join a Team.
- At level 170 you shall learn 'Heaven Ground'.
From level 200 to 250
During 2x EXP event thus using hour glasses

- Castle Dungeon b1, Asylion b2 and WaterWay dungeon are the best choices.

When someone should start a Granter?


You will not want to go through life depending on 'others' to apply Lightness on
you to go and confront the Vampires.
So the time is ripe for this type of player and he should learn to play with a
Granter. This happened to me.
Mainly because if you are playing the Bishop or any other class it will come to the
time when most Warrior Vampires will become very strong and then even 2
Granters are needed to stop a horde of bloodthirsty Vampires.

How to play a Granter?


For me is like piloting a car. You need to hear the engine sound, the requirement
of the gear exchange, step on the clutch often, accelerate and brake at the right
time and maintain the flow and shape of traffic always with great attention. You
obviously gets a much better player the more you get used to it.
If you read the guide surely there is no reason rather than develop your own
techniques now.
Attention!!
* Plan and think about who will receive Lightness is critical. At parties I highly
suggest you apply it in the other, because you have Continual Light to clear the
Darkness instead, also Mercy Grounds will be helpful. Anyhow the time for the
next Lightness has a higher delay than 10 seconds and a maximum of two
Slayers by Granter.
* When Aura Shield runs out is advisable to drink Mana and immediately
reactivate the Aura Shield. This way you extend the survival rate of your Granter.

How to play around with a Granter?


(someone else is the Granter)
Basically the ideal is not let the Granter commit suicide. If he does not have good
set you have to do everything possible to prevent him plays the role of a "tank"
instead.
In PvP I think is the main thing to remember is the Sanctuary. If he hold anything
in there you have to divert your attention to him and the victim trapped in the
Sanctuary. A good granter is like a father, you'll be protected 100% of the time!
One of the things I do not like is when the Granter invades a large mass of
Darkness and leaves his companions outside. The Vampire will circumvent the
situation and change the target in a few seconds and thus you should call him or
ride motorcycle to leave the place. As said suicide is always a regret.

How to go PvP with a Granter?


In PvP against a Fire Ouster the best thing is to apply a Heaven Ground first and
try to hit her with the Intimate Grail.
Immediately start casting Aura Storm and Sweep Vice combinations.
Alternatively you can use Aura Ring and Aura Storm combination too.
Against anything I would say the Grail is the first choice, especially against high
level HP Vampires and even some Ouster builds.
The ideal against Vampires is to keep distance and always apply an Aura Ring to
"calculate" his HP bar decays.
INT Vampires are a bit challenging because they can paralyze, blind you with a
poison and even reverse situations with a Blood and a Gore Gland summon near
you. I highly suggest you always look for a Bishop to help you. Parties in PvP is
much easier, because I doubt that Ouster and Vampires won't do the same
against you.

Conclusion about the STR Granter

This is a Granter of level 214 (AD Class 64). He still has a low INT, we are aiming
for 620.
With this INT regeneration rate would be around 600~800 MP points. Obviously
the MP bar would be diminished in seconds, but in duels against Warrior
Vampires the Protection is absurdly high. Then think of the time that you would
take to regenerate again from 0 to 1700 points. That would be 8 seconds and if
you drink an MP bottle it would basically replenish the full bar again.
However as I mentioned the Aura Shield drops down rapidly regardless of INT
because doable damage to it and the secret is in the HP for PvP. When caught
without Shield the Vampire won't hurt him that much.
Anyway it is almost an experiment for those who just want to surprise opponents
with a class and "exotic" build.

Conclusion about the INT Granter

This is my Granter. He is buffed with Bless, Striking, HA and Grail.


I have got on PADRE a set of Zaps now, so this is the best I can for now. Although
I'll be enchanting new items for more INT soon!
With promoted items a Granter like that think could achieve 500 points of
protection and it would be great.
I do not have anything else to say. Sage Warlocks are very limited to the
Meditation and the way of playing one can develop. The character regenerates
MP as it avoid certain situations.
Generic Conclusion
"I think this class has a tremendous advantage in the game, the high magic
damage (Sage Warlock) after 820 and 900 points of intelligence is very high,
as well the regeneration MP points. This keeps the character alive almost
always during a threat or ambush, freeing him from situations that any other
class would be subject to PK. I do not see another alternative for those who
are beginning in the server to not be going through a Granter (at least as
Slayer).
You will have all the advantage ahead of other classes of slayers. You will be
able to make much money in the game than even a Vampire of INT can, mainly
friends and go and get new items in Asylion whenever you want with Rotten
Apple."
