SCOPE
This Specification defines the minimum requirements for accommodation at
construction locations for Company personnel.

2.0

GENERAL
2.1

Throughout this Specification, the following definitions are applicable.


Company - VICO INDONESIA, a Division of Virginia Indonesia Company
LLC.
Responsible Government Authorities - Refers to all national, regional, local
and municipal organizations with jurisdiction over matters related to personnel
accommodation.
Contractor - Contractor and all of his subcontractors, if any.

All accommodations furnished by Contractor shall be in accordance with the


requirements of the responsible Government authorities, BP Migas, Ditjen
Migas and others with jurisdiction over personnel accommodations. Company
will not accept ignorance of these requirements as cause for delay in the work
or as basis for a claim against Company.

OFFICES
3.1

Contractor shall provide suitable air-conditioned office space, subject to written


Company approval, at its site office location on one of the work areas provided
by Company.

3.2

At this work area, Contractor shall provide single offices of approximately 12


square meters, two-man offices of approximately 18 square meters, a
conference room of approximately 30 square meters, toilet facilities and kitchen
facilities. Such accommodations shall be of a Company approved construction,
e.g. Portacamp or equivalent.

3.3

Each single office shall be supplied with one desk, three chairs, one bookcase,
two four-drawer filing cabinets, one stick file system for Drawings, and one
drawing reference table.

Each two man office shall be supplied with two desks, four chairs, one
bookcase, two four-drawer filing cabinets, one stick file system for drawings,
and one drawing reference table.

3.5

Conference rooms shall be supplied with one large table and a minimum of ten
chairs. Table dimensions shall be at least 1.0 meter wide and 0.3 x N meter
long where N is the number of persons nominated by Company to be seated
around the table.

3.6

Toilet facilities shall include water closet, handbasin, hot and cold water, towel
rails, mirror, and other necessary requirement relating to toilet facilities.

3.7

Kitchen facility shall include sink, bench and cabinet, hot and cold water, 0.2
cubic meter refrigerator.

3.8

Contractor shall be responsible for maintenance, cleaning, power, water


(including potable water), lighting, sewage disposal, plumbing, air conditioning,
and security of these facilities.

HOUSING
4.1

Contractor shall provide air-conditioned living quarters at its camp location on


one of the work areas provided by Company. At the Contractor's camp
location, Contractor shall provide for permanent and part-time Company
personnel. Single occupancy rooms shall be provided to accommodate said
personnel. Each room shall be approximately ten square meters. Toilet
facilities shall be provided as part of this accommodation, and shall be such that
there shall be one toilet facility for each single occupancy room.

4.2

Each room shall be furnished with bed, mattress, pillow, desk with chair, arm
chair, wardrobe, bookcase, two lockable closets complete with locks, 0.1 cubic
meter refrigerator, air conditioner, lamps, etc.

4.3

Toilet facility shall contain water closet, shower, hot and cold water supply,
handbasin, mirror, power, lighting, shelves, cabinets, towel rails, shower curtain,
and other necessary requirements relating to toilet facility.

4.4

Contractor shall be responsible for maintenance, cleaning, power, water,


lighting, sewage disposal, plumbing, air conditioning, and security of subject
accommodation.

Contractor shall be responsible for providing bedding, towels, soap, toilet


paper, brooms, cleaning supplies and other consumable and non-consumable
house keeping items required to maintain subject accommodation.

4.6

Laundered towels shall be provided daily, bedding shall be changed twice each
week, and at time of arrival of new or temporary personnel.

4.7

Contractor shall clean the accommodation daily, and provide a laundry service
for Company personnel.

DINING ROOMS
5.1

Contractor shall provide dining facilities with meals for Company personnel.
Meals shall be served three times daily in an air conditioned dining room, and
shall be of a standard normally enjoyed by Company personnel.

5.2

Company personnel shall have full use of Contractor's recreational facilities at


the site. If Contractor has no such facilities for his staff, then he shall provide one
room of not less than 30 square meters complete with power, lighting and air
conditioning. Such room shall include a kitchen facility as described in Section
3.7 and shall be maintained by Contractor as in Section 3.8 of this
Specification.

5.3

All Contractor personnel associated with the operation of these offices, housing,
meal and recreation facilities shall maintain a reasonable level of personal
health and hygiene.

5.4

Kitchen and dining facilities shall be subject to inspection by Company. Should


such facilities, or any other facilities provided for in this Specification not meet
with accepted levels of hygiene, Contractor shall either correct the unacceptable
facilities or Company will take corrective action at Contractor's expense.

5.5

All potable water shall be of a quality conforming to Indonesian Health


Regulations.
