collection this weekend for Burnham Lighthouse which is taking place next week.
APF MILL HILL MISSIONARIES Next Sunday at all Masses, Fr Donie OConnor will speak on
behalf of APF Mill Hill and their Missionary work. This Thank You and appeal is NOT for
money but for parishioners to become members and take a Red Mission Box.
RED BOXES The first half-yearly collection of APF/MH red boxes is still taking place. Please
bring your full box to Mass, where possible, ensuring it is left in safe hands. New boxes are
available at the back of Our Lady of Peace Church. Thank you.
WORLD YOUTH DAY Please pray for our young people, the NYMO team and Priests, and all
those travelling next week to Krakow for World Youth Day.
DECEASED Please pray for Margaret Casey RIP who died recently, her Funeral Service will be
on Tuesday, 2nd August at 11.30am in Our Lady of Peace, followed by committal at Slough
Crematorium. Also please pray for Veronica Swain RIP who died last week, her Funeral Service
will be on Monday, 8th August at 2.30pm at Slough Crematorium. May their souls and the souls
of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen

mornings there will not be a Service of Word and Holy Communion.

300 CLUB The July 300 Club draw took place on 17th July, the winners were : 1st Prize 50
Miss N Oates. 2nd Prize 25 Miss M Rawling. Anyone who joins the club between 1st July and
30th September will be entered in the next draw to take place during 1st two weeks of October.
Membership forms are in a plastic sleeve on the Church noticeboards.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT every Monday at Our Lady of Peace from
7.00pm to 8.00pm. All welcome to join in Contemplating the Face of Christ through prayer,
praise and stillness. There is also Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St Andrews every
Thursday from 8.30am 9.30am. All welcome.

TRIP TO LITTLEHAMPTON from St Andrews Church. Beach, harbour, Funfair, Picnic areas.
Tuesday, 2nd August leaving at 8.30am. Cost 14 person, Children 0-10 years 7. Tickets

THE MARRIAGE COURSE If you are a married couple or a couple in a long term relationship
who are either in a strong relationship or are struggling this course is for you! Couples who
attended the course last year felt it gave them a "date night" and time to explore their relationship
inspite of having very busy lives. The course will be held in St Edwards, Alma Rd, Windsor on
Thursday evenings, September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, Friday evening, September 30th and Sunday
afternoon, October 9th including a blessing at Mass and lunch. If you need to miss a session a
video link of that session will be provided. The cost of the course is 50.00 per couple. We really

CONCERT ON 10TH SEPTEMBER SOUNDS OF GRACE AND HOPE You are warmly
invited to a concert in support of the work of MASS (Medical Aid and Support for Syria). This
unique concert will be given by two performers whose music is tempered by their experience of
the traumas and hopes of the peoples in the Middle East. Ayman Jarjour: Classical guitarist born
in Syria and performing Worldwide. Teresa Brown: Violinist, Church Musician and composer

CATHOLIC CERTIFICATE IN RELIGIOUS STUDIES CCRS (2016-2017) This course is
available on Saturdays at St Louis Catholic Primary School, Harris Court, Aylesbury, HP20 2XZ
We have an induction day on 17th September, 10am to 12 noon, where prospective students can
meet most of the tutors and learn more about the course. The first module starts on 24th
September. The course consists of six core modules in areas of theology and two professional
modules in possible subjects of Schools, Parish and working with young people. The cost is 50

JUBILEE FOR CATECHISTS By Having Mercy and Choosing led by Rt Rev John Wilson,
Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster. For those involved in, or potentially interested in helping in faith
formation through catechesis, childrens liturgy or education. Sunday, 25th September from
2.00pm to 5.00pm at St Josephs Church, Austenwood Common, Chalfont St Peter, SL9 8RY.

PARISH RETREAT 8TH 9TH OCTOBER To be held at the Bridgettine Convent, Iver Heath.
The theme this year will be from Mt 9:37 The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few
and will be led by Fr Simon Penhalagan. The cost will be the same as last year at 25.00 /day
and preference will be given to those who wish to attend both days. Each day will start with tea,
coffee etc at 9.00am and Mass will be said during the weekend. To reserve your place and for
