Work Summary:

Maintaining safe working environment.

Coordination with assigned foreman and/or other trades for the purpose of
completing projects and work orders efficiently. Diagnosing causes of
problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems for the purpose

In depth knowledge of installation of HVAC ducting including pre insulated

(PAL) and GI ducts.

and having extensive experience in light and smoke testing of ducts.

Inspection of HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units,

maintenance.
Performing routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of
ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems. Prepares written
materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose of

Repairing heating and air conditioning systems and/or components (e.g.
pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.) for the purpose of

and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary

installation and/or repair.

Responding to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of

resolving immediate safety concerns.

Good knowledge of modern HVAC valve system and water balancing.
Good knowledge of HVAC controls and automation.
New AC Unit installation with DX and chilled water.
Able to assist in preparing shop drawings and as built HVAC drawings.
