Required Rudiments for Percussion Auditions


All Rudiments will be performed as your Best 16. The students will play the selected rudiment 16 times at the
tempo that best represents his/her skill level. Play what is pictured below 8 times.
*Roll Rudiments will be performed Best 8 open and Best 8 closed. Play what is pictured 4 times open and 4
times closed.
