THE CITIZENS ADVISORY GROUP


 10 volunteer members of our community from diverse backgrounds,
and 2 Hinton Town Councilors.

 The committee’s role is to champion the process, providing input


and engaging and listening to the public throughout the process.

We see Hinton in 2040 as a community that is: STRATE
 More diversified economically, culturally and socially.
 More vibrant by celebrating our unique cultural
heritage, small-town charm and natural amenities.
 More balanced by achieving innovative economic
development while protecting and conserving our
ecological, human, economic and social resources.
 More engaged with government, citizens, businesses
and visitors working collaboratively, thus allowing
everyone to enjoy a positive quality of life.

OVERARCHING AND GUIDING DOCUMENT
FOR ALL OF THE TOWN’S OPERATIONS.

Developed with the intention that it will be used by a
wide variety of individuals, the business community and
organizations that are interested in the future of the
community. The plan will :
Build on our community’s assets;
Help to encourage partnerships and collaboration;
Build on existing plans
and investments;
Assist our community
reach its potential.
