YesterdayIclearedPSM1,got97.5%.
WhenIstartedpreparingfortheexamandreadpostsonthisforum,Igottheimpressionthatexamwill
betoughespeciallywith85%passthreshold.HoweverIwouldsaythatexamwasnottough.Imay
havegotaneasysetofquestionsthough.:)
Therewerenolongquestions/optionswithwordydetailstomakeonelostininterpretation.Mostofthe
questionswerestraightforwardwhichrequiredclearunderstandingofscrumframework.Therewere
nodirectquestionsonNexusalthoughtherewereacoupleonscenariosofmultiplescrumteams
workingonaproject
Icompletedtheexamin45minutes,startedspendingremainderoftimeinreviewingtheanswersbut
mistakenlyclickedonSubmitbuttonandsofinishedtheexaminabout50min.Got2questionswrong
andnowwonderingwhichonesIcouldnotanswercorrectly.
IhaveextensivebackgroundinsoftwaredevelopmentbutagreewithJMOlsenthatonedoesnot
necessarilyneedsthatbackgroundtocleartheexam.Allwhatisneededistounderstandand
rememberthecontentsofthescrumguideproperly(Ireaditabout45times)andthendowellin
openassessments(especiallyScrumOpenandProductOwnerones,Nexusisgood,onemaynot
worrytoomuchwithheavytechnologyrelatedquestiononDeveloperOpenonesforPSM1
certificationIthink)offeredbyscrum.org.
