    Unit: Elements of a Story
    Hello!
    This week our class is focusing on the elements of a story. There are 5
    elements they will be learning, and they are: characters, setting, plot,
    conflict (problem), resolution (solution), and theme. Within this weeks
    module, the students will be introduced to different stories and asked to
    identify the elements.
    At home, I encourage you to talk about each of these elements. You could
    discuss these elements in settings, books, or even turn real life events
    into stories of your own. I cannot wait to see the incredible work your
    child does this week!
