Bien sabemos que los adjetivos usualmente describen o califican a las personas, animales y cosas; sin
embargo, tambin sabemos que muchas veces comparamos y establecemos quin o qu tiene una mejor
caracterstica que el otro. Cuando hacemos eso comparamos y utilizamos superlativos. He aqu cmo
hacerlo en Ingls.

Adjetivos de una sola slaba. (One-Syllable)


La forma comparativa de los adjetivos monoslabos la creamos agregndole er y est para la
superlativa.

Si el adjetivo termina con una consonante y antes de ella hay una vocal, debes duplicar la consonante y
agregar er al comparativo o est si es superlativo. Cuidado con los terminados en w porque no se
duplica.

Para formar el comparativo y superlativo de la mayora de los adjetivos de dos slabas debes colocar
more para el comparativo positivo, less para el comparativo negativo y most para el superlativo.
