Indofood at a Glance
Over the last two decades, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (Indofood) has progressively
transformed into a Total Food Solutions company with operations in all stages of food
manufacturing, from the production of raw materials and their processing, to consumer
products in the market. Today, it is renowned as a well-established company and a leading
player in each business category in which it operates. In its business operations, Indofood
capitalizes on a resilient business model with five complementary Strategic Business Groups
(Group), namely:
Consumer Branded Products
Our CBP businesses are conducted by PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), a
subsidiary listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). ICBP is an established and
market-leading producer of diverse consumer branded products. Many of its product brands
are well-established, enjoying significant mindshare in Indonesia. ICBP has ventured into
non-alcoholic beverages and broadened its product portfolio to include ready-to-drink tea and
coffee, packaged water, carbonated soft drinks and fruit juice drinks.
Noodles
The Noodles Division produces and markets a range of bag noodles, cup noodles, egg
noodles and instant vermicelli, and represents one of the worlds largest instant noodle
producers with an annual capacity of more than 16 billion packs. Its diverse brand portfolio
includes Indomie, Supermi, Sarimi, Sakura, Pop Mie, Pop Bihun and Mi Telur Cap 3 Ayam,

catering to all market segments. These brands are renowned for their quality and high level of
acceptance by consumers, and have won numerous awards for excellence and brand status.
Indofood exports its product to more than 60 countries. The key export destinations among
others are : the Netherlands, South Korea, China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia,
Singapore, Timor Leste, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Hong Kong, Jordan,
Saudi Arabia and USA.
Indofood offers a variety of product to exsport such us noodle, baby food, sauce, and instant
seasonings, flour and pasta, edible oils and fats with high quality, excellence of taste and high
level of acceptance with consumers. All Indofood product are halal certified.
Dairy
The Dairy Division is operated by PT Indolakto, a 68.57% indirect subsidiary of ICBP and
one of the leading producers of dairy products in Indonesia. It produces a variety of dairy
products including sweetened condensed milk, ultra-high temperature milk, sterilized bottled
milk, pasteurized liquid milk, powdered milk, butter and ice cream. Its flagship brand
Indomilk has enjoyed strong market presence for more than 40 years and is one of
Indonesias best-known brands. Other brands include Cap Enaak, Tiga Sapi, Indomilk Champ
and Calci Skim for milk products, Orchid Butter for butter, and Indoeskrim for ice cream.

Snack Foods
The Snack Foods Division comprises two business units, snack foods and biscuits. The snack
foods unit is a joint venture company with PepsiCo that produces modern and traditional
snacks including potato, cassava and soybean chips, curly and prawn crackers, and extruded
snacks marketed under brand names such as Chitato, Lays, Qtela, Cheetos and JetZ, all of
which enjoy strong market presence. The biscuits unit is solely operated by ICBP and
produces a range of biscuit brands targeted at two different market segments: Trenz for
youths, and Wonderland for families.
Food Seasonings
The Food Seasonings Division produces a comprehensive range of culinary products for both
Indofood Group and for associate company, PT Nestl Indofood Citarasa Indonesia (NICI),
a joint venture company with Nestl SA except for the dry-mix seasonings which produced
by NICI itself. NICI markets culinary products such as soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce,
instant seasonings and bouillon under the Indofood, Piring Lombok, Indofood Racik and
Maggi brands. The Division independently produces and markets syrup under the Indofood
Freiss brand.
Nutrition & Special Foods
The Nutrition & Special Foods Division produces specialty foods designed to meet the
nutritional needs of expectant and lactating mothers, infants, toddlers, children and adults.
Products include cereals and biscuits for infants and toddlers, cereal snacks for children,
cereal drinks for young adults and milk products for mothers. The cereal and biscuit brands

for infants and toddlers are aimed at two distinct market segments: Promina, for the higherincome bracket, and SUN, for the mass market. Other brands include Govit for cereal snacks
and Provita for cereal drinks.
Beverages
The Beverages Division is the latest addition to CBP Group, a further realization of its
strategy to capture new business opportunities and boost the Companys growth. ICBP seized
the opportunity to enter the fast growing non-alcoholic beverages market through the
establishment of joint venture JV companies with Asahi Group Holdings Southeast Asia Pte.
Ltd. (Asahi). These companies are PT Asahi Indofood Beverage Makmur (AIBM), which
manufactures non-alcoholic beverages, and PT Indofood Asahi Sukses Beverage (IASB),
which is responsible for the commercialization. IASB introduced its first brand, Ichi Ocha, on
December 2013. In September 2013, the acquisition of a 100% stake in PT Prima Cahaya
Indobeverages (PCIB) by AIBM and IASB led to the addition of the PepsiCo brands of
Pepsi, 7Up and Tropicana Twister through exclusive bottling agreement, as well as the PCIB
brands of Fruitamin and Tekita into ICBPs portfolio. In January 2014, AIBM and IASB
through their joint venture subsidiaries with PT Multi Bahagia completed the acquisition of
assets related to the packaged water business under Club brand in Indonesia.

Packaging
The Packaging Division comprises two business units: corrugated packaging, which is
operated by PT Surya Rengo Containers, a subsidiary of ICBP, and flexible packaging, which
is operated by ICBP itself. The Packaging Division is critical element of Indofoods Total
Food Solutions concept. The Division manufactures a wide range of packaging materials for
other divisions within Indofood Group, as well as third-party customers in both domestic and
export markets.
