Inter-High School Quiz Bee
MECHANICS
1. The Quiz Bee is open to all bona fide Grade 10 high school students
enrolled in any public or private high school. REGISTRATION IS FREE.
2. Each participating school must register 3 student representatives (see
attached registration form). Accomplished Registration Forms may be
submitted in three different ways on or before August 31 2016:
By courier to FEU Cavite, Metrogate Estates, Silang Cavite, 4118
By email to mnepomuceno@feucavite.edu.ph

(NOTE: Only those who were registered will be allowed to participate.
Changing of student representatives must be done at least two (2) working
days prior to the contest.)
3. The quiz bee covers four (4) major subject areas, namely: Science, Social
Science, Math, and English. Questions vary and may include topics
discussed from Grade 7 to Grade 10 subjects.
4. The quiz bee is categorized into three (3) rounds: Easy, Average, and
Difficult. Each round consists of 20 questions with the corresponding point
system:
EASY
1 pt. per question
AVERAGE
2 pts. per question
DIFFICULT
3 pts. per question
*Clincher questions may be provided to break ties.
5. Scores are summed up from the three different rounds. The school with the
highest total points wins the Quiz Bee.
PRIZES

All participating schools and students will receive a certificate of

participation.
The top three (3) performing schools will receive medals, certificates, and
cash
