GUIDELINES IN DRAFTING DOCUMENTS

Pursuant to A.M. No. 11-9-4-SC or the Efficient Use of Paper Rule promulgated by the Supreme Court (effective 1
January 2013), please draft your pleadings, motions, and other similar papers intended for the court and quasi-judicial bodies
using this format:
Format and Style1
Single space with a one and-a-half (1.5) space between paragraphs.
Font2
Any easily readable font3, font-size 14, on a 13-inch by 8.5-inch white bond paper.
Margins and Prints4
Left hand margin: 1.5 inches from the edge.
Top margin: 1.2 inches from the edge.
Right hand margin: 1.0 inch from the edge.
Bottom margin: 1.0 inch from the edge.
Every page must be consecutively numbered. Your explanation on the mode of service used must clearly indicate whether
you are serving via Registered Mail or Licensed Courier or both, and must be similarly worded as follows:
