Weebly

1. Create a free account at www.weebly.com and create a site (for your


portfolio).
2. Click add site.
3. Click site. Whats the Focus of your site? (this step may no longer exist it
may go straight to theme.
4. Choose a Theme (this can be changed)- for the sample I selected Clean
Lines you can decide what is best, or a reflection, for you.
5. Choose Your Website Domain (you can select now or later)- for the sample I
used Use a Subdomain of Weebly.com and inserted the class info.
6. Click on My Site and type your name and Portfolio.
7. Click on pages from the top blue toolbar
8. In the left hand column you will click on the first box (home) and in the page
name box change to Curriculum and Planning. You can change the header
type if you wish. Click the back arrow. If the name did not change go back
in and after typing the new name click on the gray and you should see the
change.
9. Click about and in the page name box change to The Learner and the
Environment. You can change
then click the gray back arrow.
10.Click contact and in the page name box change to Teaching. You can
change the header type if you wish. Click the back arrow.
11.Click the plus sign (+) on pages to add the next two pages Professional
Responsibilities for Self-Renewal and Professional Responsibilities for School
and Community. Be sure to add a standard page and click save after
each new page.
You will need to use the rubric to add each of the subheadings you have at least two
options:
Option 1
12.To add the subheadings you will need to continue creating new pages for
each area for example, Interdisciplinary unit, Exam Results, and
Reflection.
13.After you create and save each page you create the subheadings by clicking
and dragging the subheading page (for example, Interdisciplinary Unit to
below and the right of the corresponding heading page. Be sure to align each
page at the same distance (as reflected in the shadow of the box) or you will
have subheadings for the subheading. You can change and move. If for
some reason things lock up or dont move just go back to Build and back
into the Pages.
14.You can then click on each page and add the title and edit the layout if you
like.

To add documents:

15.To upload go to Build and drag the appropriate icon. For example,
document. Follow directions to upload.
I have used this option for our EDUC 474 account.

Option 2
13. Under each page click title and drag to box. You can edit the words. Drag a
Title box for each needed area.
14. You can use the divider under structure to separate each subheading.
15. Click on the Media you want to upload and follow directions.

To allow me to see as you are working make me an editor you need to:
Click Settings on the blue toolbar.
Click Editors on the left.
Click + Add Editor on the top right- ssmartin@bluefieldstate.edu
