System advantages compared to other oil-fired

condensing boilers
Due to the boilers construction, the flue gas is cooled down to about 60C 80C
already inside the boiler body where it transfers the major part of its heat to the boiler
water, before it enters the plastic heat exchanger.
Permanent condensation, completely independent from the return temperatures
(see comparison).
The boiler body stays dry due to the integrated return temperature lifting. This has got
a positive effect on cleaning the boiler, as the residues can be removed very easily and
quickly.
The heat exchanger where the condensation takes place is made of TUV-approved
plastic and thus resistant against acid sulphur (sulphur dioxide + water).
Therefore, no sulphur-free heating oil is needed.
Furthermore, the heat transfer is exclusively done in a counterflow with air/flue gas.
So there is no pollution nor blocking. Due to the permanent condensation, the
secondary heat exchanger virtually cleans itself. There is no rusting through with our
KROLL system.
Due to the permanent condensation, the heat exchanger practically cleans itself.
Should the plastic heat exchanger be polluted due to wrong or bad burner settings,
it can be cleaned very easily with water.
The flue gas is washed out due to the permanent condensation.
The environmentally harmful acid sulphur is neutralized in the neutralization box
and is lead into the canalization, now pH-free. So, only water steam is emitted into the
atmosphere, no sulphur dioxide.
This is a very positive effect on the environment!
Due to the integrated modulating flue gas fan, the combustion chamber pressure
is adapted to the weather c
onditions. This gives constant combustion conditions,
independent from draught or pressure in the chimney.

Operating mode of the permanently condensing boilers
Here, it transfers the major part of the sensible heat to the boiler water.
The water is heated up from at least 55C to maximum 80C, going upwards in a counterflow.
After that, the flue gas enters the secondary heat exchanger made of PP plastic where first
more of the sensible heat and then, after reaching the dew point temperature, the latent
heat is used to heat up the fresh air, taken in for the burner, to up to 60C.
The flue gas leaves the system with less than 48C (for heating oil) and enters the chimney
via the plastic flue gas pipe. There, it cools down to about 20C to 40C at the end of the
chimney, using the air that comes in from the outside and then goes to the plastic heat
exchanger and finally to the burner.
The air which is taken in from the outside is already preheated inside the chimney to
about 30C.
The flue gas being created at a flame temperature of about 1200C is cooled down
to about 70C by the flue gas passes which are surrounded by the boiler water.

The fuels and their environmental compatibility

Mineral, vegetable and animal oils can be used as fuel without significant modifications
to the burner.
No special tools are n
ecessary. All you have to do is turn a dial to re-adjust the pre-heating
temperature and the c
ombustion air according to the fuel to be used.

Due to ever increasing costs of mineral oils, vegetable oils have become more and
more important.
Their energetic density is very close to the values of heating oil. Vegetable oils are
renewable, CO2-neutral and do not contain any sulphur or heavy metals.
The technique of KG/UB20P KG/UB200

The combustible is atomized using compressed air at comparatively low p
ressures.
This allows larger nozzle diameters which prevent blocking of the nozzles even if polluted
or viscous oils are burnt. A separate fuel supply system sucks the combustible out of the
storage tank and pushes is reliably over large d
istances to the burner. Here, it is filtered
and preheated.
This is important for a consistently good quality of ignition and combustion of the oil.
Compressed air supply

In many industrial companies, there is a compressed air supply.
This can be used to supply the multi-fuel oil burners KG/UB20P KG/UB200 with compressed
air. If you do not have an existing c
ompressed air supply, you can create the c
ompressed
air that is necessary to run our burner using our e
specially developed Kroll compressors.

Fields of application
Warm air heaters are the most efficient way of heating commercial or industrial halls,
garages, production halls, w
arehouses etc.
And especially, if this is done with a multi-fuel oil burner instead of a conventional oil or

for this use.
Heating boilers of newer or older years of construction can easily be equipped with a
multi-fuel oil burner. You can decide which combustible you want to use:

They are completely equipped with burner basin and oil tank, easy to install and
immediately ready to use.
The cross-flow fan works silently and does not need much maintenance.
The 24 l tank has got an integrated oil strainer and an electromagnetic gear pump
to supply the burner basin with oil.
The integrated overflow switch turns the electromagnetic gear pump off in case of
a fault.
After ignition, an integrated thermostat switches on the cross-flow fan and the electromagnetic gear pump as soon as 55C are reached inside the c
ombustion chamber.

the warm air back downwards and help to save heating costs

Mobile and immediately ready to use the main characteristics

of the Kroll heat plant HM.
It is extremely suitable for use in various locations, such as tents, major construction sites,
warehouses etc., and as additional, temporary or replacement heating unit.
The Kroll heating unit HM200 is of compact construction. There are no parts or connections,
such as the air inlet/exhaust, protruding over the area of the HM200. It can easily be moved
by a fork lift, with its pallet-typebase it can easily be moved wherever it is n
eeded. It fits
crossways on a standard lorry and is easily and safely stackable, a fact,
that is especially interesting for rental companies.
All components of the unit, such as the burner, ventilator, control box etc. are enclosed
within the robust housing. The heating unit is therefore protected against abuse or misuse
by any unauthorized persons.
Furthermore, the models HM200 can be operated with a natural gas burner or an LPG
burner.
Furthermore, the unit is also available as a two-stage version (not HM100).
The unit works e
conomically:
The energy is converted directly and with a degree of efficiency of 93 %.
The unit can operate in various configurations with recirculated air, fresh air or a mixture
of both.
Due to the high pressure of 350 400 Pa, long warm air hoses can be connected.
The distribution of the warm air can be done via one or more warm air hoses at the same
time. This feature gives you more options in locating the unit on site.
The housing is galvanized and painted in a colour similar to RAL 7047.
The installation is easy to maintain, all component parts are positioned in a clearly
arranged manner, and, thanks to removable side-panels, easy to reach.

provision, production or delivery, strike, lockout or similar, release us for the duration of the perturbation, as well
as for a reasonable start-up period, also during an already given delayed delivery period, from our delivery
obligation, as far as the perturbation has not been caused consciously or grossly negligently by us, our legal representatives, auxiliary persons or assistants. If delivery becomes, for the above mentioned reasons, impossible
or economically unreasonable, we are released from our contractual obligations. Claims for damages from
the purchaser are excluded.
4. Our delivery obligation stays at rest, as long as there are not only inessential purchasers depts. in arrears.
4 Prices and payment conditions
1. The prices confirmed by us are applicable ex works, packing excluded, plus the current obligatory value
added tax.
2. For orders whose net value of goods is less than EUR 50, we charge a small quantity surcharge of EUR 25,.
3. Expenditures that arise from changes in the way or the amount of the delivery and on request of the buyer after
our order confirmation, and/ or arising from the fulfillment of afterwards occurred, or unforeseeable authority
instructions, will be also charged in addition to the quoted purchasing price.
4. In case of decisive change of price factors for working material, vendor parts, salaries, social charges, energy
costs, turnover and commercial taxes or customs duties after the conclusion of the contract, we reserve the right
to increase the prices stated in the order confirmation, accordingly for those goods, that are to be delivered
after more than six weeks after conclusion of the contract. In case of a price increase of more than 5% on the
prices stated in the order confirmation, the purchaser has the right to resign from the contract within one month
after being informed of the change in price.
5. Assembly costs will be separately charged.
6. Discounts from price are to be stated in written form.
7. The Buyer has the right for charging only when his / her claim is legally stated, unquestionable or acknowledged by us.
8. Unless otherwise specified, the purchasing price is to be paid without deduction within 30 days after invoice
date. The Buyer has the right of retention only as far as his/ her counterclaim is based on the same contractual
relation.
9. If we become aware of any circumstances, which justify legitimate doubts concerning the Buyers creditworthiness, and if the Buyer is, in spite of respective demand, not ready to pay in advance or to provide appropriate security, we reserve the right to resign from the contract.
5 Transfer of perils
1. The delivery of goods is generally executed ex works.
2. Risk of coincidental loss or coincidental deterioration of goods is passed to the Buyer when the Goods are
placed at the disposal of the Buyer at the Sellers premises, or, in case of consignment purchase, in the moment
of transfer of the goods to the forwarding agent. When the Buyer is unable to receive the goods, the risk of
coincidental loss and of coincidental deterioration of the goods is passed from the Seller to the Buyer from the
day on, when the Buyer is advised of the goods readiness to be dispatched. Eventually occurring storage costs
are for the account of the Buyer.

6 Reservation of property rights
1. We reserve the property right for our goods, until entire payment is received, also for all outstanding claims
existing in the complete business relation.
2. In case the Buyer does not abide the contract, especially concerning the payment conditions, we have the
right to cancel the contract and to collect back our goods. After taking back the goods, we have the right to
use them. The revenue coming out of the exploitation of the goods is credited on the Buyers payables appropriate costs of exploitation deducted. In case the withdrawal cannot be realized we are entitled to claim for
damages.
3. The Buyer has the right to resell the goods in accordance with his / her adequate and orderly accounting
business. The buyer transfers, already now, all claims against his buyers of the resold goods, to us. We herewith
accept the transfer. The Buyer remains authorized to collect claims transferred to us. This authorization expires
immediately when the Buyer ceases his payments.
4. In case of garnishment, other interventions of other persons or eventual damages or destruction of the goods,
the Buyer has to inform us immediately. Also a change of property of the purchased subject, as well as a
change of registered office has to be indicated without delay.
7 Claims for defects
1. The Buyer has the right to claim defects only after his duly fulfilled obligations of inspection and reprimand
according to 377 HGB.
2. In case there is evidence of defect taken by us, we will eliminate it at our option and for our account, or we
will deliver goods without defects (supplementary performance). The purchaser has the obligation to allow
examination of the goods if demanded also by third party.
3. As character of the object of purchase, only our product description is valid. Parallel public exclamation, praise
or advertising does not represent any contractual indication of the character of the goods.
4. We take responsibility according to legal law, as far as the purchaser is claiming compensation, which result
of intention or gross negligence. As long our behavior cannot be proved as an intentional or grossly negligent
breach of duty, the responsibility of compensation is limited to the damage, arising typically in the respective
case. This is not valid for responsibility of life, body or health, neither for the obligatory responsibility according
to the law of product liability.
5. The period for claiming defected goods by the purchaser is one year from the date of delivery of the goods.
6. The purchaser is not given any guaranties in the sense of Law by us. Guarantees of producer are not concerned
herewith.
8 Responsibility
1. Concerning other claims for damages we are responsible at best, in case of lightly negligent breach of duty,
only for that kind of damage, that is typically arising for this kind of the object of purchase. This is valuable also
for lightly negligent breaches of duty by our legal representatives or assistants.
2. Our responsibility for lightly negligent breaches of unessential duties is excluded.
3. Responsibility of guilty damage of life, body or health remains untouched. The same applies to the obligatory
responsibility according the law of product liability.
9 Place of fulfillment
The place of fulfillment for delivery is respectively the place from where the goods are sent, for payments and other
liabilities reporting to the contract it is the address of the our registered office.
10 Final Clauses
1. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany is valid. The clauses of UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods are not applicable.
2. As an exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes out of this contract the competence of either the Regional or the
County court is agreed, dependent of the value of the object.
3. Purchasers date necessary for the execution of the order, are safe and processed for own purpose. Notification according 33 BDSG resulted with this.
4. Should single terms of the contract, including these conditions of sale and delivery, are or become partially
or completely void, the validity of the other terms remain thereof untouched. The completely or partially void
term, shall be replaced by a term, whose economic success is as close as possible to that of the void term.
