NetAssetValueisthesinglepriceatwhichthepolicyownerbuystheunitsinaunitfundandsellstheunitsbackto
theunitfund.
TheinitialbasicpremiumallowableforthepolicyisRM5,000.Youmaystoppayingthepremiumsandstillenjoy
protectionaslongasthereisasufficienttotalinvestmentvaluetopayfortheinsurancecharges,policyfeeand
supplementarybenefitpremiums,whereapplicable.However,thereisapossibilityofthepolicylapsingwhenthe
requiredchargesexceedthevalueofthefundunitsavailable.
Buyinganinvestmentlinkedinsuranceplanisalongtermcommitment.Anearlyterminationofthepolicyinvolves
highcostsandthewithdrawalvalueisdependentonprevailingmarketvalueoftheunderlyingassetsoftheunitfund.
